Bravo, thanks for the dark style, I'm using Stylish FF extention to do the same thing for most of the sites I use. Now, what about the other pages? Please let us choose a dark style for the whole site, after all it's a skinning site so let's make it skinnable (Otherwise I'll have to publish a Stylish userstyle for it :)

Thanks for the feedback JINKS666 & thanks for the 5*. I've already uploaded it, it's in moderation, not sure if it's possible to download yet but you're welcome to try. Here is the link anyway - https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?skinid=7071&libid=1 .If you cannot download it, in 2-3 days it should be available. Would love to hear your feedback once you check it out. The Firefox theme (and others I designed) are available here - https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/user/47100

I'm not sure if that's the problem but most of the explorer skinned parts show up only after restarting the computer. Try applying your background, save changes and restart the computer. If that doesn't work, try posting in the skinning forum, more chance to get help there. Hope I could help, good luck.

Looks good! Finally a reflection! Yeah, bring on the eye candies [e digicons][/e] Now what will I do with all my custom reflective icons and docklets? More seriously, will 3rd part docklets have a reflection automatically? That will mean I'll have to take the (fake) reflections out of my docklets backgrounds(luckily I only made 3). And one more question that I'm very curious about, will the reflection move down as the icon magnifies (as in you know where.. ;). Anyway, looks real

I finally uploaded the theme, thanks for the feedback and special thanks to theAVman for the tutorial on skinning the throbbers (I was stuck with a throbber from previous WB). Thanks also for Vampothika for her most wonderfull icons SteamPunk that decorate it so nicely. The theme is in moderation, looking forward to hear more feedback, Best regards. p.s. The theme is only for XP because that's what I use. If anyone likes to help porting i

Thanks very much for this tutorial. I've been having trouble with the Throbbers for long time. It always stays on a previous Throbber from a skin I'm not using any more. EDIT - I solved the problem, found the file. Best regards.

Hi members of the community. You may have wondered where did I disappeared ( well, I said "may" ;) ) Anyway, I've been focusing lately on creating Firefox themes. It's a very big project that takes a big part of my spare time. It's also a very satisfying project and I'm happy to see that all my themes are rated 5* and both released themes entered the top 20 popular themes with about million downloads. Ok, enough with the ego pumping intro :HOT: , let's get to the news... I've just re

I tried it on XP 32 bit. Great dock overall. Very nice interface and smooth animations and reflections. Anyway, i was dissapointed mainly from one thing, the docklets. I found them to be space consuming (one docklet for ram and one for cpu, one net-in and one net-out.) That takes too much space, hope that can improve. Anyway, i'm using Sysstats docklets on OD and even made some myself and got used to using them. It's dissapointing to give up this option that wo

Hope it's short-ly enough :) , Yes, you can. Click on "configure dock", then "positioning". Untick the"automatic distance from edge" and play with the two sliders. Tuning this, together with choosing top/bottom etc will allow you to position the dock anywhere on your screen.

Hi. Userstyles allow the user to style the web the way he/she wants to. Basically, skinning the web. I made a userstyle to solve a common problem with any dark theme for windows including WB. The problem is, with dark themes that use light text color, that on some websites the text becomes invisible (against white background) This userstyle deals with it and changes all the textboxes to a dark background with dark gray frame & light gray text.

Thanks vStyler. I appreciate very much your opinion. I've updated the screenshot that shows the two sub-styles. The second one has white (normal :) explorer background. Happy to have so much feedback, specially from you! Cheers.

Thanks for clearing that. I also need to explain my info. I never meant that people will change system colors. It's only a setup inside Firefox that overrides the colors of websites. (A pref) The other option (Stylish) is a popular add-on (for Firefox) that works as a "click and forget" solution to style the web. Very cool thing that remembers your settings for certain sytes so you can choose that hotmail will be always dark with matching texts etc. There are also gene

Yes, that's what i mean ... It's really up to the programming of the certain app how it behaves with skinning. A small price we have to pay (if we choose a dark theme). That's also why i include the light version (you could use it for work certain mission). But still, i find it's possible to use it with all my daily missions (GIMP looks great! :), That's also why the text is grey and not white so it's visible somehow ... After all, it's a neccessary compromise unless Stardock will find a way

Yes, i know, on some sites there will be conflicts between the system colors and the site's programming. There is a way to solve it on Firefox. Options/Content/Colors and then cancell the "allow pages to choose their own colors" (you can also choose "use system colors" if you like it dark). That'll solve the problem for that page. . Another comfortable way is to use userstyles (userstyles.org) with stylish so you can style your web the way you like it (dark for example). I use usersty

Thanks for the feedback, i agree, changing two themes can be a bit slow. Just wanted to make clear that the dark style is better with LavaFox and the light one as standalone with default FF theme. It's a good point that you mentioned and i forgot about. Happy you like the skin anyway. Thanks for helping .

Thanks Bichur. If you'll like to use only WB with the default firefox theme , then choose the darker substyle and the tab text will be white and perfectly visible. You could also use the lighter substyle with my firefox theme without conflicts. Only not the default firefox and the light substyle as you show (because the black text not designed to go with it). The best is to use both, the firefox theme and the WB, then you got some kind of suite. Hope it

Thanks RickJP. That looks nice :) Happy u also got my FF Theme. Looks like i'll re-upload it soon. Happy the nasty bug is gone ...Wondering about misterious ghost inside the machine, all i did to fix it was "save as" under a different name ... :)

Thanks Master vStyler. First for testing, happy that it looks healthy (it was a nasty bug). Second, thanks for the visual feedback, i agree with rounding the corners, i'll try for next update. Also the other suggestions, i'll look into it and try to come with improvements. I appreciate your opinion very much as i admire your skills and attitude! Only one thing i didn't get...which are the boxes behind the title buttons?, not sure i get what You mean.
