Gnats3
Demigod is supposed to run much better than Supcom. Supcom has a problem because high unit counts and physics = lots of work for your computer. Demigod has fewer units so it should lag less.
You will get an email when the beta starts, which will have the beta key that you need. Probably.
No need for more playable demigods in this early beta.
Silence, heretic! [e digicons]:D[/e]
Most RTS games (and online games in general) have enough other newbs for you to play against that you will still be able to win sometimes. You will want to play better players if you want to improve but if you get bored of being slaughtered you can always play with other newbs [e digicons][/e]
No edit is fail -_- [link]http://www.gamereplays.org/demigod/portals.php?show=page&name=demigods-index[/link]
There is a list [link=http://www.gamereplays.org/demigod/portals.php?show=page&name=demigods-index]here with information for every Demigod that we have a picture of [e digicons]O:)[/e] That is the angel unit.
If you actually watch the trailer, you can see that one of the "wings" is actually his staff with some distortion from the ice blast, while the other is his cape. He is standing sort of sideways so it looks like wings, but they aren't.
The problem (as someone else mentioned earlier) is that the link goes to www.demigodthegame.com/download.asp when it should be downloads.
@Gnats3I Dont think it can get confusing at all really. It would be like a store, You see apples and oranges and watermelons you dont like oranges but like the other 2 so thats what you get but it would be different for other players.
Yeah, but then what happens when you have apples and oranges and your opponent has apples and watermelons, and you try to use oranges in the game while your opponent tries to use watermelons? Will it be in like Supcom:FA, where the game dat
The problem with lots of smaller expansions is that it can get confusing with all the "which players can use which stuff" issues. I'd prefer to just have a normal one eventually, and/or have TF2-style stuff.
I think he just means that they will keep updating Demigod for at least a year, and entirely for free. It is probably to reassure all the Supcom fans (such as myself :)) who were disappointed at the lack of updates for Supcom:FA.
437.
Pfft, journals can't take that long to write. Want moar! :)
Too action oriented? Rushing is a problem? what
Welcome :)
So ignore noobs' balance suggestions? Sounds good to me :). Making it easy for them to learn would be good too.
The devs started this? Man, if I was a dev I'd be busy playing Demigod.
Wow, just yesterday you were promoted to a mod (not here, before anyone yells). In a few weeks you really will rule the world :o
ya.. but Demigod hasn't been tainted by EA
RA3 is *gasp* actually not too bad.
No way that I give you my paid Demigod license for a free beta
The RA3 beta isn't free either :P. I doubt anyone will accept your offer, CrazYvan.
You know, the General player could always just run away if the Assassin gets close. Then he won't die and his army will stay buffed :D . And even if they do fight directly, the Assassin will be weakened and maybe overwhelmed by the remaining units belonging to the General.
Anubis is overused in my opinion, and if he doens't look Egyptian or dog-like it wouldn't really fit.
Yeah, I think you are in as long as you preordered in time. You don't need to rush to download it or anything.
The beta is suppposed to start on or around September 5th, so that is most likely when it will be available.
.. so you're basically trying to say you said something different because you're afraid to be wrong?
No, I'm saying that you are still wrong but there is no point arguing over the internet when neither of us will change our opinions. I even went so far as to say that it was probably just a misunderstanding, since the only other possibility I could think of was that you simply have the intelligence of a doorknob. I agree with Ron Lugge. Are we done now? :)
