Ok, so I make a Yithril sovereign with a longbow, and quickly gets 31 attack. I kill most enemies in one or two hits, some three. Lots of good stuff there, Steven, but part of the logic is missing on the battlefield treasure chest - after all, if the enemy picks it up, and you kill him afterwards, wouldn't you end up with the contents anyway? It could work with temporary power-ups you could pick up, but.. while 'magical' that doesn't seem to fit with elemental much.
The DLC for SC2 does add a bit of what was missing from SC2 - namely, meaty experimentals and larger maps, and the patches also helped. Still, SC1 & FA had a lot of innovative ideas - and they worked. Just watch some of the high-level replays... good stuff.
I like the new system - it is cleaner, more elegant, less prone to ridiculous hero stats. Some tuning is in order, though, but that's not my problem. What I think might be useful is for stats to remain much as they are, but include skills. Don't be in too much of a rush to get a new card; Empire is not going to be silky smooth unless you buy serious overkill. With that said, your card is pretty much at the low end.. did you scroungs it up from your old PC, by any chance? :) Still, it's above normal minimum requirements, so if you want to hold on to it for half a year and then get an even better new card for less, that's an option. As for Empire, I find it's finally a good game with 1.6+. VERY good, even. :)

Actually, it's more like a web service accessible through most if not all new sony products - blu-ray players, TV's, etc. The web service includes movies, series, sports.... basically (HD)TV content on demand. It uses a basic XMB interface very similar to the PS3's menu system, which seems to hint that it may be included on PS3's, as well, in an update or two. But that's just a hint.
