I really think that Tribute (one of the few level 15 special skills) needs to be changed into something else. Anything else . WHY? Because this special skill is equivalent to a level 3 (!) citadel upgrade that anyone (!) can buy

I'm not an ESL admin, but I thought I'd post this here: http://www.esl.eu/eu/demigod/news/92698/2on2-Cup-on-Sunday-only-Cataract/ (ESL accounts are free)
Wow, Sinzer. I really did not expect such a sophisticated response. [e digicons]:omg:[/e] Thanks a lot for you expertise in probability calculations, it's been a long time since I learned that stuff in school. I simply calculated the average probability for a QoT per slot and multiplied it by 6, with the numbers from that day, thus resulting in 43.5%. Still, a naive interpretation of your result means that you should encounter a QoT in every 3rd 6-player game, which seem
When Bramble Shield can only absorb part of the skill damage the rest of the damage goes to your health, I see it all the time with enemy fireballs/snipes.
Thanks, pseudomelon. Zechnophobe, may I ask if you read what I wrote already 3(!) times in this thread? If YES, why do you not understand my question? If NO, why do you post here? PLEASE DO NOT POST HERE IF ALL YOU DO IS WHINE. TYVM.
Finally. [e digicons]\o/[/e] Thanks gnanyop.
Sorry, I am not sure how I can ask my question any more explicit. I'll underline the important part: How are your perceived percentages [%] of QoT players and which strategy do they usually play ? Please do not post how strong/weak/imba/whatever the QoT is, just post the percentage, thanks.</p
A.I. stats seem to be part of the explanation, thanks, but I'll ask my question once again, since nobody is giving me a straight answer: How are your perceived percentages of QoT players and which strategy do they usually play? E.g. in 2 out of 5 6-player games you encountered one QoT player (30 players -> 2 QoTs -> 6,
This is a personal observation and therefore it is not accurate for all of Demigod games played, but to me it seems that almost nobody plays the QoT. Approximately in 1 in 10 games (mostly with 6 players) I find another guy/gal playing the QoT, which is in plain contrast to this official statistic: http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/demigods/graphs/ (Filter by All, Graph by Games)<
You don't have to speculate, just look at the matches here: http://www.esl.eu/eu/demigod/1on1/ladder/rankings/ Sedna is not impossible to beat.
You can add to that list that they should fix the Sludge Slinger item . Whenever you activate it on a Demigod who you are not facing it gets you stuck (you have to use a skill to get unstuck). I know that practically nobody uses this item, but I really need it to work in 1vs1 matches. ;)
Want.
Nice observation, deserves a fix.
I usually skill shamblers+mulching and ground spikes (which i do not use until skill lvl4). The shamblers+mulching part usually wins me every fight in early game and when the enemy buys catapults I can kill one lane with one nicely placed mulched shambler and kill the other lane with ground spikes. Versus high damage Demigods I always stay inside and constantly recast shield and mulch. This does not work against a skilled oak (yet), but when they fix the Sludge Slinger trinket
This is just some idea that popped into my mind: If you would upload the DEMO of Demigod onto p2p tracker sites like The Pirate Bay personally , that might just give you some more publicity . Just mention other Developers/Publishers who make exclusive deals with some gaming sites for their demos. We all hate that. Anyone else think this is worth considering? Has anybody done that before? Pros/Cons?
Regulus with mines and Mark of the Betrayer is an effective counter to the QoT with minions. Avoid her early on, until you have three mines. The shield does not trigger the Mark of the Betrayer, summoning and mulching shamblers does.
Hi! I usually play QoT, and I noticed that Shamblers (perhaps also the Yetis or Night Walkers) do not attack an enemy Oak's Spirits. Is this intentional because the Spirits are flying units?
The Sludge Slinger item still does not work properly. If you do not face your opponent, or are very close, using the item will not work and instead just stop you Demigod. I guess it's the same bug that resulted in problems when using some your skills on another player (Sedna Heal bug), which should have been solved by the latest patch. Can anybody confirm this
If the trick did not work, I would not have written it. ;)
This build is not that bad in 1vs1 either. Just made 2nd place in the ESL Sunday 1vs1 tourney . Lost versus a Spirit Oak on Prison map, in which he accumulated a gazillion of spirits. The shield didn't last long, and the shambler mulching didn't kill the spirits by a few health points. :(
Yeah, portraits of teammates would be nice too. Let's hope the developers listen to the community. ;)
With this build you can't kill other Demigods if they retreat soon enough .
Hi! I usually play QoT with minions, and in the endgame it's hard to keep track of your shamblers. This is especially bad if you have to mulch a shambler quickly to heal. One option would be to highlight your shamblers when the mulch skill was klicked. The other option I thought of was that you could double-tap some skills. When pressing or klicking the mulch skill two times fast you'd eat the shambler with least health (or the nearest shambler) automatically. This double-tapp
Enjoy. Queen of Shields (Guide)
Ah, ok, thanks for the quick response. I didn't know that there was a holiday on monday. [e digicons]o_O[/e]
