What's actually in the demo? All skills, items & citadel upgrades?

A bit off topic, but I really like how every map (altough they seem quite similar) plays differently: Mass gold on Zikkurat vs. mass regeneration on Leviathan. Concentrated action on Crucible vs. open space on Prison. The strategically important fountains on Exile vs. the weakly defended portals on Cataract. This was a very nice design choice by the developers. :) Sadly I can't say

Lugh, if you actually tried out what you're babbling about here, you'd know that when using the Cloak of Night your Shamblers won't jump with you. Also try playing your "DG killer build" against any experienced team and save the replay. I'll be waiting.
Lugh, if you think QoT is so awesome , please explain why I found only 1(!) game where you played her in your last 50 games. Facts: If you go mainly for health items, you won't have nearly enough mana for Shamblers, Shields and Mulch. If you go mainly for mana items, you can Shield a lot, but your damage (agai
Phirochu: I don't care about the ranks here (who does?), I just saw that you seemed to have never played QoT (but mostly Sedna). Sorry if I was wrong. FYI I'm 4th in the International ESL 1vs1 ladder and I'm the only QoT of about 30 active players. Also, I have yet to see a QoT in the 2vs2 or 3vs3 ladders. Go figure...
The game simulates a minimum of 350ms regardless of what it actaully is if lower, so if you can find players with which you can get That's quite interesting, everybody should know that . Can you please explain a bit further what that means for the game, like does everything other Demigods do happen 350ms before I actually

All Shields regenerating the same amount of damage as Uproot deals: For just 2 Shields and 2000 Uproot damage (without Compost) that would mean that each Shield would maximally provide 3450 damage reduction, resulting in 6900 damage reduction for 840+840+905=2585mana (2,67 damage reduction per mana, which is about the same for Sedna's Heal when you also calculate armor damage reduction). Your Idea is good, but would probably be overpowered for more than 2 Shields...
Imho Uproot is pointless (just like Sedna's Yetis) which in turn also makes Compost pointless. I can also absolutely confirm that after enemy damage dealing Demigods reach level 15, Shields won't make much difference. That's why your idea is rather good, because it would improve Shields, but not overpower them in the beginning. Morale is the same for each Demigod, which means that for example +50 minion health is much better for Erebus or Oak due to their high number of minions: 12(sp
QoT's autoattack is actually very good in closed mode. If you do it right you can hit 2-3 soldiers on average in the beginning. However, her AA has some annoying bugs: attacking Demigods out of range results in her attacking the nearest enemy; short delays in her attacks if you switch targets; long pause after using a skill. Obscenitor: I do play the QoT as support and Shield my teammates a lot , but I don't see <span style="text-decorat
lifekatana: If your experience about USA - EU players mixed in games is different, I'm sure you can post that without sounding like a troll. Obscenitor & CelMare: do you not want to or can you not post approximate numbers? I'm really just curious.
I know it's p2p, it's just that most of the time EU players and USA players don't mix. Obscenitor, CelMare: Please post how often you play the QoT where you extensively Shield your teammates vs. how often you play Senda where you extensively Heal your teammates. Please post how often you get Shielded by a QoT in your team vs. the number how often you get Healed by a Sedna. I am so very very curious. <
I rarely see QoTs and these almost exclusively use Ground Spikes and only Shield themselves which does not count as support. This is my observation on EU servers, perhaps it's different on USA servers?
Of course I know that you cannot compare the strength of a Demigod based on only one of their skills, I just stated the facts which compare the increase in usefulness if you put further points into the two main active support skills. Perhaps it is even intended that Shield is really strong in the beginning and gets more and more useless the more you skill it (as opposed to Heal), but I have yet to hear a good explanation for that.
My guess why there are only few (support) QoTs: QoT's Bramble Shield: actually decreases its damage absorbed per mana slightly if you level this skill! (1.75 -> 1.73). </sp
To give a gold bonus would just lend itself to abuse: I could quite easily sit there tanking a tower until my health was moderately low, let sedna heal me, walk away, and generate gold. Furthermore, Sedna (one of the two "support" characters) is already deemed by many to be in the top couple Demis. Perhaps we should look for a way to buff QoT, rather than push sedna over the edge to being overpowered.
True that. The proble
30% reduction in an opponent's speed for 3 seconds does more for a fleeing teammate than 1500 health ever will. _Songstar: I'm not talking about hundreds of gold or whatever, just something tiny to get more people to play support, because most of them won't without some kind of reward. Now the reward for denying a kill goes fully to the teammate you saved, even more if he gets a kill instead of dying. How many QoTs do you see that extensively uses Bramble Shields on thier teammates? One in 40 games? Less?? _pseudomelon, that's why I explained: " If this reward is any

A friend of mine had the same problem with his WLAN (using WinXP) and found a solution: http://www.ifelix.co.uk/tech/2000.html
I play the QoT and use a support build which allows me to Shield my teammates a lot. The downside of this build is that I usually can't kill enemy Demigods because I lack normal damage, burst damage, speed and offensive skills. The upside is that I can save a lot of my teammates lives , but these saves don't get my Demigod ANYTHING (but a "ty" from the teammate).[
Thanks for the info. :)
Ring of Divine Might DOES NOT WORK on Shamblers, I tested it. I can only guess that that's another embarassing bug which should have never existed. You do most damage with your Shamblers by Mulching them.
Whenever I see an open Wip_PT "NO PREMADES" game, I join and look at his team. If I see the usual names I tell everybody that Wip_PT is actually in a premade team. Have to type rather quickly because he kicks fast. Obviously someone with ego problems, I do not envy him. [e digicons]8|[/e]
