how is a new group of friends who like to play with each other regularly going to enjoy this game when they get outcasted by their own community for playing with their friends? Just wanted to show that to the community: First Game Second Game Third Game All 3 games this afternoon.
I'm just curious: Are you talking about how to play a QoT against AIs or beginners or a skilled pre-made team ? Because your options decrease a lot if you play against skilled premade teams.
If you really want to use Shield for support by constantly casting it on teammates, you have to stay in closed mode (more mana regeneration) all the time and get at least the 1st, 3rd and 4th helm. Only then Shield can be useful in a team game, else it's not even a support skill because you'd only Shield yourself and go to open mode. Also the Shield part of the special skill "Goddess of Thorns" is laughable, because the 35DPS area damage it adds to the Shield is hardly noticably becau
Fact is, if anyone can be proven to have cheated in Demigod (e.g. by replays), he would get his game account banned. That's why I'm rather cool about this matter.
Thanks for the "official" list. Please take a look at the "unofficial" list , at least look at the Major Issues .
I have yet to see a QoT using Uproot in Custom Games (which are 99% Conquest mode), premade or not. And I've already seen a quite a few Yeti Sednas though. For me this says enough about this skill...
This bug has been pointed out here before, numerous times. Bump.
That's because you rage-quitted in the end, Adolf.
I've got a question: I guess that a lot of Minion Erebus take the Ring of Divine Might favor item. Does the temporary effect of this item also affect the Nightwalkers by temporarily increasing their damage? I tested it with QoT and it does not affect her Shamblers, only the idol minions.
PurplePaladin, QoT can be skilled to be the best tank in the game (hint: Closed mode, Shield and Mulching). Concerning HP stacking, I usually only need Hauberk of Life and Unbreakable Boots (additionally perhaps Nimoth Chest Armor ) as HP items to survive attacks like you described (for as long as I have mana; was the map Leviathan?).
Hm, how do they calculate the win percentage they display next to each Demigod? Number of total games != Wins + Losses. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
The demo seems to be out soon, so I just wanted to remind GPG and Stardock of the lesson they hopefully learned. You should expect a dramatic increase in player activity, so upgrade your servers and connections in time. Another fiasco like the f*****-up connection problems at the official release of the game would hurt your reputation and future sales pretty bad imho.
Velocitas is absolutely right, Uproot siege damage pales in comparison to Ground Spikes. I also think that the Violent Siege special skill is amongst the worst, what is it actually good for?
I only hope that the Queen's 43% win percentage (as opposed to the 63% win percentage of the UB) does not keep players from joining your side. Because statistically it would be wiser to join the other team. :(
From my experience, playing the QoT in open mode will only get you (and your teammates) killed in seconds if you play against good opponents who use well-timed stuns and burst damage. As Aroddo pointed out in his thread about the Ground Spikes armor malus, the QoTs Shamblers, Shields and Spikes (at least vs. DGs) scale badly for late-game. Level10 and level15 Mulching are awesome though. :)
Nice read, thanks. Spikes are awesome against towers, that's why Uproot is absolutely useless imho. Btw, which flags increase armor? [e digicons]o_O[/e]
Welcome back. :) I don't know how the stats experience is calculated right now, but GPG should take a look at how professional ladders are made: Earned experience is less if your team wins against a lower-ranking team (average rank of all players) and higher if your team wins against a higher-ranking team. This way, the issue of PROs vs. casual players would also be migitated. Another point is that GPG should really take a look at the compiled lists</
I'm just perplexed how (two of) these bugs were not noticed when testing the previous patch before releasing it. [e digicons]o_O[/e]
Wow, the I misread the description which says: Torch Bearer draws power from the flame, gaining 15% Mana and 200% Mana Per Second. Imho, another awesome special skill (imagine the cost of an item with those stats). The Queen's two other special skills include a very small, very weak AOE for the absolutely useless Uproot skill, and <a h
With Fire Aura Level3 the attack speed and movement speed are increased by 15%, TB weapon damage by 30. I almost think it is intentional that he cannot shoot while moving, to let enemies retreat easier. Fireball - Circle of Fire - Fire Nova - shooting at them when they flee - second Fireball Combo would make him a very strong Demigod hunter.
Keep in mind, this is what the QoT can skill after she improved her shamblers 3 times and it has absolutely nothing to do with her shamblers, which is unique for this kind of skills and that's just very strange. Not that I disagree with your overall conclusions, Tribue is a horrible skill, but this statement (that it's unique in that it has nothing to do with the skill points leading up to it) is not true. Try this . Sedna is better as a support Demigod in 2vs2 though.
Every player should know this. Nicely done.
