Danny - I am unfamiliar with this song. Perhaps you can sing it and record it as an mps and upload it for all to hear?

Enroll them in Karate or some other martial art if they are interested, I couldn't agree more. I don't even have any belts, but I did study some martial arts for a while (ninjitsu and karate) and the little I gained from it increased my confidence immeasurably. Not to mention the benefit of exercise. If you have never studied any martial arts

Yes, I could be the recipient of 87 million dollars by now, if only I would fork over some as yet unspecified amount of money. Founds this thread over on skinnables.org. Pretty funny - might come in handy too. [link]http://www.skinnables.org/forum.php?post_id=1261[/link]

It is snowing. SNOWING, I tell you. It's been snowing hard since about 1:00 pm today, and it's now sticking. It is pretty - it's like being in a snowglobe. Snowing. :p

Ah...I see that in fact you were not bragging. Just beautiful Dev. I particularly like the last one of your newest who looks like he is smiling in his sleep.

I think you all bring up good points, but the "why" remains unanswered...and is likely unanswerable. At what point did personal responsibility go out the window? It's not even really the "me" attitude. For example, on a large scale if you love your life you would want to be more environmentally aware, and try not to do things that will endanger the Earth and therefore your life - you selfishly want to protect your life and do so by protecting the Earth

Oh, thought of a couple other weird things. Mormegil and I worked with a guy named Keith who was like the "Tim-the-toolman-Taylor" of construction. We worked in a sign shop and used exacto knives regularly. His coworker put a new blade in Keiths knife and rolled it back across the table to him and Keith, in his wisdom, thought to himself "if I hit that with my hammer I can stop it". Hammer hit knife, which then flew up into the air and after a couple of turn managed to lodge itself i

1/ Is truth in fact stranger then fiction? What do you believe? Yes - we expect fiction to be weird. It's the very fact that something really happened that makes it seem more unusual. 2/ What is the strangest, yet truthful, thing you can think of? (does not have to involve you, just be truthful to the best of your knowledge) This is a story I heard on http://www.newsoftheweird.com/index.html but can’t find a link to the

It's a laugh line, and I don't even laugh very often! Then you should laugh more and earn the "marks". I also feel like procrastinating, but I'm working instead.

We've moved. I am tired and sore and wish I was sleeping right now, but we have moved from our crappy 1 bedroom apartment to a big house in the little woods. (We have a few trees out back). As of yet we have no driveway, because the ground is currently frozen and therefore they cannot i

No, not shunned. Some of us just didn't know you were back. I missed you too. Sorry to hear about the bad things that have been going on. Sounds like it was a "learning experience". As for me, somewhere along the line I stopped wanting to try things that I didn't already know how to do, or that I thought I wouldn't be good at. Not a good way to live. Looking forward to more insightful blogs.

I had a friend who tried hypnosis and it worked for him. Although that costs money (don't know how much). So hard to break an addiction...I'm rooting for you!!

I have a big dog (120#'s), and she is scary looking to some poeple. But if she so much looks at someone the wrong way I'm all over her and usher her out of the room or whatever. I don't like the idea that people might be scared of my dog! Why anyone would train their dogs to be killers in beyond me. So horrible and sad. I read the thread you mention with LW. I was glad that you called for her - as a dog lover I thank you!

"What is best in life? To crush your enemies, to see them driven before you, and to hear the lamentations of their women" or to have their business fold so they have to blow truckers for a living That...is...hilarious. As usual, Wanderer, you've drawn me in to your story. Looking forward to more. <img src="../images/smiles/smile.gif"
