Great post, Zoomba! You are right on!

Holy moly. We moved this weekend, so my phone number has changed. I'll e-mail it to you. We'll talk.
Did the article say who the "cleaners" were? I wonder if it was other college students who needed extra cash. Which seems like it would be a win-win situation for everyone. Too bad for all concerned.
Zoomba - I think the knock-knock joke was too highbrow for this article. Next time maybe. (And thank you, I'm glad you could follow it easily. That makes me feel good). Phazonmaster - Congratulations! Send me your e-mail address and I'll send you this offer from this guy in Nigeria who has 87 million dollars he wa
Welcome, ratherbedeadthancool! Nice nick! Hope you enjoy WC!
Did you know you can change the color of your cursors using Stardock's CursorXP ? It's pretty easy, at least for those of normal intelligence. I, of course, required special help. <IMG he
31% Hmm. More bitchy than I thought. Yeeha!
1/ What would be your perfect job? Producing a made for TV movie - got one in mind. 2/ How close are you currently to doing this job? About a year out. 3/ What skills/abilities/whatnot would you need before you could do this job? There are many, not the least of which is the ability to put up with a whole lot a sh**. Also have several degrees and certificates that all say I sat in a bunch of classes where I theoretically learned someting. Also been a professiona
Locamama - I missed your "Did you miss me"? post, but I wanted to state here that I did in fact miss you. I hope things are looking up a little bit! Good to hear you are trying some artistic and fun stuff to make yourself feel better. I have recently purchased my first scrapbook and "fixin's" and plan to try my hand at it soon. Take care.
"The concept is interesting and well-formed, but in order to earn better than a 'C', the idea must be feasible." - A Yale University management professor in response to student Fred Smith's paper proposing reliable overnight delivery service (Smith went on to found Federal Express Corp.)
As of this moment it is 7:48 am Eastern US time...we're all still sleeping! (Or just waking up).
Well said Gideon, as always.
I would have to say Mormegil is my favorite. I have to say it 'cause he's standing behind me right now telling me what to type. Just kidding! I do think he's the greatest in the whole wide world. I also really enjoy the work of DanilloOC, essorant, Mike Bryant, Bones 2112, Night Train...too many good artists to mention them all! <img src="http://images3.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Congrats.gif" bor
I think you have an excellent point here. My experience has only been in teaching college students, whom you might think would be mroe motivated since the don't "have" to be there and it costs money. Not so! They are often shocked when they are penalized for turning work in late (even though they were told in advance there would be a penalty). Many of the questions asked on the first day of class can be boiled down to "how much work do I actually have to do to pass this class"? Educatio
I read a LOT . I read almost everything posted these days, but I've been commenting less for some reason. Perhaps becasue I've been so busy this last month. I'm moving to a new house right now, so after this weekend maybe things will lighten up a bit and I can focus more. I think there might be a lot of "lurkers" like me.
Welcome.
huck403: you can also - and perhaps should - email [email protected] . Good luck! Edited - corrected spelling. And it must have been a bug, becasue I would never spell anything wrong. Oh no, not me.
Thanks all, glad you enjoyed it.
This is hilarious! Thanks for sharing.
My Aunt lost part of her foot to those scary spinning blades on a lawn mower. Yikes! It's good you took precautions. As a new homeowner we are going to have to decide on shovel vs. snowblower. It's a tough decision: make the husband shovel or make him use a snowblower. Hmmm...what to do...
1/ How/where did you acquire the genie/what is the genie in (doesn't have to be a lamp)? I went scuba diving in Mexico and sure enough, there it was! It was an old green bottle lodged under a rock. Don't know how I saw it...but I grabbed it and
This is absolutely terrific! Thanks to skinyourscreen.com and mrbiotech for creating it.
Ask and ye shall receive, friend.
SagetHollen...interesting concept. I'll have to give it a shot and see!
Thanks Danny. Mostly written as advice to myself.
