Sounds like you're using Vista.

im running xp
X-( The worst part is that my Vista search is not finding it even though it's indexed... By the way, where was it? It might help others to know where you found it.

I don't really know a whole lot about that chipset, but if it ran the demo at highest, you shouldn't have any problem in that department. Some people do experience late game lag on large maps with lots of opponents, but that's not always a graphics issue. Really more about the scope of the game. Summary: You shouldn't have a problem.
My money is on a Thursday.
I have classes all day on Thursday. I'm sure it will be a Thursday. :( Actually, I wouldn't be surprised if it were a Monday. So the initial feedback doesn't pileup over the weekend. I can't wait to see the forum after 1.09 releases... even more so when 1.1 does.

Sounds like you're using Vista. First, make sure SoaSE is patched. Second, make sure you're looking in AppData\Local\Ironclad Games. Third, try doing a search for it. You have at least started the game on the machine your using currently? I dunno if it'd effect anything, though. If all else fails, you may want to try a reinstall.

Quote kryo from a different topic, but it's the same path.
Vista: C:\Users\your username\AppData\Local\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\ XP: C:\Documents and Settings\your username\Local Settings\Application Data\Ironclad Games\Sins of a Solar Empire\ Please note that some of these directories are hidden by default. To unhide them, go to Control Panel -> Folder Options -> View and set yourself to view hidden files and folders.
Did you have demo installed? If so, uninstall both and reinstall the game. Make sure the drivers are from the Nvidia website, not a 3rd-party. If that doesn't help, you could try uninstalling, than downloading and installing through Impulse. You may also want to try messing with the graphics/sounds in the game and see if that helps.

As I remember it, the TEC were throwing everything at the Vasari, and were finally getting some hope when the Advent arrived. Then they had a crisis with all their stuff tied up with the Advent running around unopposed.
You should feel sorry for that person - they probably had Turrets of the Keyboard. A very sad condition indeed... They need your caring and understanding, not to be ignored
I think you mean a swift kick and then an ignore. I'd care for somebody decent. Somebody shouting "PENIS"! every ten seconds is not decent, and deserves a good kicking. Preferably in between the legs if they have one of what they seem so fixated on.

Quote myself from the thread about this:
Download the Forge Tools from the download tab. In there the files will be in text that you can edit with notepad, etc. They're normally in binary which is why they look like that.
Insurgency does produce small numbers of rebel units at random enemy planets. It's real annoying when somebody else gets it. It should be happening whether you see them or not. The rebels do attack whoever is around though. I'd prefer it the other way, but oh well. If you can afford defenses at each planet, it's also a bit easy to counter. Keywords though are "at each planet". Countering gets a bit expensive with larger empires.
“Garment Workers Union Rebels”
<br/

The higher the allegiance, the better the income. As stated above, the Advent do get a late game upgrade that can raise the cap everywhere by 10%. Though you still need culture to get it to it's maximum.
it happens to the best of us
Too true. Just the other day, I had to go to an admin at my college and admit I couldn't log on; I'd forgotten my password. He came over and deleted the space in front of my user name and I was in. D'oh.
