Well, they are probably performing a more efficient repair whereas the TEC repair platforms are probably flat-out swapping out chunks of the ship. Vasari method uses less resources but repairs "slower."

The common denominator there was that they were AoE's being empowered by Malice. The reason that Cleansing fell first is because it has a charge time. I was giving an order in which to cast things as an AR for maximum effect. Cleansing Brilliance: cast this first because it has a charge time Fracture: this prepares everything for the following nukes and directly empowers Psionic Scream Malice: cast this just before CB fires to ensure you cove
Well, techincally you could go.. Cleansing Brilliance -> Fracture -> Malice -> Psionic Scream -> Meteor -> Chastic Burst but then, how often does that happen to line up?
Greg, if you don't mind, would you mind sharing a record of you playing a game like that?
I feel early DE would be a repeat of the TL. Something I'm starting to like more and more as I think about it would be replacing Fury of the Unity with a T8 civ tech that would cause their capitals to spawn culture wherever they go. Perhaps that would be sufficiently powerful.

Hadn't even thought of it but Nano Leech and Volatile Nanites would be quite painful..
Is this perhaps related to why the Orky's deflector shield doesn't show?
Illuminators are most vulnerable to corvettes (which get obliterated by titan AoE's) and fighters. Every fighter squadron used by your enemy is one less bomber squad going after your titan and capitals, not to mention they have less health and get shredded by flak.
Mass Disorientation drastically cuts the DPS of enemy forces and meteor pummels frigates.
True, but it has no prerequisites and is severely OP in MP games, particularly so when the player is an eco because they can have the monetary support to put multiple jumping Orkies on each front without having to fleet up. Beyond that, in MP games, if someone wants a tech, they will rush labs to get there.
Jumping Orkies are too powerful and can't be effectively dealt with. If you have such a big problem with this, support nerfing them or host your own games and allow them.
that would allow one refinery to have double the output.
Run in the dev.exe and post any errors.
[quote who="ZombiesRus5" reply="41" id="3195027"]It's just sorta odd Advent loyals have 3 different ways to spread culture which is really redundant. 2 of which are only able to generate culture in your system. Another possible option would be to add a secondary affect to each level of global unity like increasing allegiance by 5% per level. For a late game tech this would be really interesting. Though now you've added a 4th way to generate culture. However, now you m
Well first off, the Vasari don't have many AoE's. Their titans have them, but everything else is just is just single-target. As for the TEC, Radiation bomb could work decently well, dealing effectively the same amount of damage as Psionic Scream, only in a DoT instead of a burst.
Global Unity only would definitely be interesting. I do like the idea though. If you really wanted a game-changing effect that fits with the AL, what would you do, make their capitals spawn culture?
And another noob who complains because he doesn't understand how the game works and doesn't care to actually learn.. [e digicons]#:([/e] Unyielding Will (the ability in question) drastically improves the combat power of the Eradica once you kill it. Basically, you get its health to zero, it throws a tantrum for a few minutes, and then dies. The solution to that ability is literally to just leave. It is actually one of the least useful titan ultima
It takes so long to get a Vorastra to L6 that even if you do, I'd have switched to capital-heavy fleets which are completely immune. Chastic Burst+Malice on the other hand I would argue is the most devastating above because it has one of the highest damage potentials in the game and is pulled off easily with no consequences. BRB does 9,000 damage. Wail of the Sacrificed deals 6440 at most. Chastic Burst + Malice is higher.. Much much higher... That&
RB: Red Button = BRB = Big Red Button = Safety Override Protocol = Argonev's self-destruct button TAR: Truce Among Rogues; makes it so pirates and neutrals don't attack you SC: strike craft; fighters and bombers
Not to mention the fact that capitals are DPS inefficient.
Umm.. You don't have the game paused, do you? Or do you mean they go back to what they were doing?
Titans in order: Vorastra Ragnarov Coronata Ankylon Orkulus Rex Kultorask Eradica (maybe it's just me, but I personally don't like the look. I think it could have turned out much better. TEC Capitals Kol Sova Marza Dunov Akkan - - - - - - - - <l
Do buffs/research allow it to go lower?
I don't think triggers function yet.
