Also make sure your motherboard BIOS is up to date as that may help.

Check out the Ashes Troubleshooting guide if you haven't already: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Knowledgebase/Article/View/530/175/general-ashes-of-the-singularity-troubleshooting One issue is that cards w
From matchmaking data we know that right now even if any human is matched against any human it won't help much. People don't sit in the queue long enough to get matched so players miss each other. When Ashes is officially released we'll see lots more players. If we open up matchmaking to all human players regardless of rank there are issues. A Rank 8 player is just getting out of the "kiddie pool" ranks where you can't lose stars. That pl
Note you can easily view and re-post your benchmark results by visiting the Ashes Metaverse webpage here .
Ashes does not support SLI. DX12 mGPU is supported.
This is definitely a driver issue. My GTX 980M laptop just started doing it with the latest Nvidia drivers. Interestingly it only occurs once per launch. You can start a benchmark and immediately cancel with ESCape to prevent the issue from reoccurring (until you restart the game anyway).
You may want to post a link to your benchmark results. Look up your Steam name here then you can post the link.
As noted above, only 2 GPUs are current supported in mGPU mode. There have been a number of articles published recently which test mGPU with various cards of different manufacturer and capabilities. You can see one example here and more in the News section on the forum. We have also tested various configurations. Improving the performance of disparate GPUs is a long term goal. It makes a lot o
Yes. Currently LAN play is not in the game nor is it expected at launch. We do intend to add it after release.

There aren't any known issues with frame rate or visual quality like you are describing. I don't have a specific suggestion for you but please look at the Ashes Troubleshooting guide: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Knowledgebase/Article/View/5
This is a known (annoying!) issue that should be fixed in an upcoming update.

Valve recently added support for DirectX 12 which is crashing Ashes but you mentioned this occurs in DX11 as well. Off the top of my head I can't think of anything else. Please open a support ticket: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Tickets/Submit
Adding more matchmaking options would dilute the player pool too much. We will evaluate adding these after release.
Is it known that FreeSync under DX12 doesn't work and that it does work with DX11?
Yes. This is currently a limitation of DirectX 12's mGPU support.
I don't have much to add but double check Crossfire is (still) disabled. It is incompatible with DirectX 12 mGPU. It sounds like you've done this but just in case!
Because Ashes uses lots of new code in Windows and your GPU drivers it can uncover problems with overlocking that were previously unseen. Please return your system to stock and see if the problem persists.
This maintenance will actually start at 7:00 AM Eastern / 1000 UTC.
Online services will be unavailable for up to 2 hours starting Tuesday Feb. 23rd at 10:00 AM Eastern / 1300 UTC. The Metaverse, ranked matchmaking, and match reporting, will be unavailable during this time.
We're currently planning to roll over the season when Beta 2 starts. Plans may change of course but we'd at least do a ranked reset.

Check whether your Steam client is using the beta release. On February 9th a beta Steam client was released with experimental DirectX 12 overlay support. That's causing some issues for folks in some cases. -Adrian
I'm glad to hear it is working for you. We were performing maintenance recently . Perhaps your attempts were during the scheduled downtime.
