not too early according to Frogboy. and I agree we should be starting on modding right now. some docs would be nice though as I'm personally really lost.
Here is the modding guide.

I'm not aware of it but I'll ask around.
There is a known issue with DirectX 12 and ALT+TAB we're hoping Microsoft will fix soon. In the mean time you can run in "borderless window" mode instead of "fullscreen" in the Ashes video options to work around this.
This is the top players across all services.
You must launch the game using Steam and select "DirectX 12" from the menu. If you launch the game EXEs directly it will default to DirectX 11. Benchmarks can be compared here or in-game via the Multiplayer -> Rankings menu options.
Try pressing and releasing the arrow key matching the direction of the scroll. Not sure why it is happening but that is often a workaround for seemingly stuck keys.
There have been reports of this with the 16.3.x versions of the AMD drivers. You may want to try rolling back to an older release. Alternatively you can run in DirectX 11 mode for now, until AMD fixes this.
It appears from this thread: https://forums.ashesofthesingularity.com/476513/page/1/ a similar problem was due to the server updates during maintenance. Is the problem still occurring for you?
The rank does not display when in ranked and cannot start matchmaking. Reloaded the game a couple of times, same issue. In the last two days I had this error. I can join custom matches though
Sorry you are having so much trouble. The lack of rank display and matchmaking indicates you're having a problem connecting to our multiplayer services. Please go to Start -> Command Prompt and run: nslookup a
Thanks. We're looking at a few similar achievement related issues. Keep posting them if you find any more!
No. Although Steam will allow you to play games in Offline Mode, you are still required to go online periodically to validate your license.
Keep in mind that the multiplayer community will expand significantly at release. A sound at match start is on the wishlist of features for post-release. A counter for people in the queue is also on the list. Thanks for the feedback! -Adrian
A few observations: Supply lines exist in the game. If your power generators are not connected to your Nexus you don't collect income from those resources. Turinium generators are fixed points critical to success. You can pin down defenders at these locations or encircle them to cut them off from aid. Engineers are the rear echelon non-combat unit you describe. Killing enemy buildings in the rear can be decisive. I'm curious
Have you guys considered adding a "wipe" function to individuals? I can understand how this can ruin things regarding the ladders.
We haven't discussed it. I'm strongly against that idea. We have seasons planned which gives players the opportunity to accomplish the same thing.
Also, when will the next ladder wipe happen? Wouldn't mind starting over again conside
Not that reassuring when version .90 is many weeks old. Is GOG just that bad or are there ways for people to force patch a game?
We are on a rapid release cycle as we approach Ashes 1.0 with the goal of getting outstanding issues resolved. GOG
To make a strategically interesting strategy layer, Ashes of the Singularity needs to significantly build out its defender's advantage, mobility warfare, artillery, air support as support instead of another flavor of combat unit, intelligence, and deception.
You've made some interesting observations. I'm not sure how they're all supposed to relate to Ashes however. Orbitals provide an interesting and - used wisely - decisive advantag
Rank 1 and Legendary players can expect to wait up to 13 minutes for an AI opponent currently. This is being actively watched and tweaked. Your feedback is welcome!
The latest build of Ashes is v0.94.18443. This version has been submitted to GOG and will be posted once they have approved it.
Please take a look at the Ashes Troubleshooting guide: https://esupport.stardock.com/index.php?/default_import/Knowledgebase/Article/View/530/175/general-ashes-of-the-singularity-troubleshooting At the bottom are instructions for submitting a support ticket, which will help
I saw a 10% bump in performance at the High preset on my GTX 980M laptop ( old - new ). I saw no different at Extreme though ( <a href="https://www.ashesoft
The game uses a client-server model with one of the players acting as the server. The platform provider (Steam or GOG) multiplayer service is used for network transport.
Players as in humans or also including AI still?
You are now much more likely to match against a human if any are in the ranked multiplayer matchmaking queue. AI players are still there as a fallback.
In Ashes ranked multiplayer we've improved matchmaking so players are matched more frequently.
I have the same problem, but only on units and bulding textures. Both in DX12 and DX11
Which version of Ashes are you seeing this in?
There is nothing in your technical support to address this.
There are a number of different issues being discussed. Framerate, image quality, AA, and AMD versus Nvidia. Brad mentioned that one reason the perceived visual quality may have changed is because Beta 2 reset the settings.
