More than the equivalent of a mini-expansion that incorporates 11 new planets and 66 new planetary bonuses, as well as ship graveyards, improved lighting and particle effects, improved ship explosions & damage effects, improved sounds, planetary abilities, and enhanced pirates with all of the technical support and continued balancing updates that one would expect from a well-funded publisher? Well, they might.
Draakjacht
Funny you mention time being a factor. Sins is popular, no arguments, but few games can afford to take so much time coming out with a sequel or full scale expansion. I feel doubly so when there's no story involved to begin with. I'm actually surprised that they've managed to keep as much attention as they have thus far, but I do think it's mostly due to guys like Nacey, Mooster, Ryat, Carbon, etc... because vanilla would have already bored the heck outta me. Guess I'm just going back
does x-lax come in neutron bomb strength?
My ass isn't big. I'm just very constipated.
Question: The diplomacy add-on is described as 'the final micro-expansion', but I thought there were suppose to be three. Did I miss something?
I've got worms! They tickle in ways that make me drag my butt on the carpet.
ah, he remembers the jew boy aspect. Good shot. Okay, I was watching an episode of Doctor Who and just had the most messed up thought. What if the Doctor is Jesus? Get this: Jesus performed miracles and the Doctor can do anything the plot deems necessary with his sonic screwdriver. Jesus then died and was resurrected while the Doctor can regenerate after a fatal blow. When Jesus' grave was open, a man who looked unlike Jesus but had the same voice and demeanor appeared
I like camels. They taste like tofurkey! Thinking about it, the only way one of us could get this place locked is by being terribly offensive, you homosexual nazis.
dunk, you lose! which desert?
yeah, I'm a little uncomfortable... So... how's the weather where you are? Clear and cool here!
to b set or not to b set, that is the question. Damn, the plague is taking hold!
Meanwhile, the draaks did some calculations and realized that brains will explode upon trying to understand all of this. So they withdrew to the Gamma Quadrant (Paramount lawyers show up), or the Pegasus Galaxy (MGM lawyers show up), or to their Moon Base (Century 21 lawyers show up), or how about they just go somewhere else? Okay, so they attempt to make distance between themselves and all the nuts bouncing around.
Discussing egos in a never ending fight over something non-existent? Nah, too easy. The blackholes couldn't become fuzzy (snickers at a possible double entendre) because the socks, although valued, were so heinously stinky that the mass of the blackholes was sucked into the stink itself after sucking in the planet, including radiation and all. As for the satellites, they were in low orbit (HA HA HA HA) and so the 5 kilometer reach of the blackholes just intersected the atmosph
And the blackholes created at the center of the draak satellites (which were in orbit of your planet) expand to eat up the atmosphere, causing heads a plenty to pop like ripe pumpkins. Days later, the entire planet is consumed by these itsy bitsy singularities. Meanwhile, the draak get back from their vacation on Riza to discover their homeworld is gone. They're fairly angry considering they left their favorite pair of socks there.
The draak and the starwarriors begin negotiations to face the ryats and cyats and whateverats as a unified force. and harpo too
I love the time machines and planet destroyers that apparently operate without electricity. Like the Cyat Stick Battlecruiser with its Twin Stone Chucker Cannons. What do they run it on? Harpos on Dance Dance Revolution pads... made of hemp.
This thread is filling up with more techno jargon than a federation engineer on a mixture of crack and romulan ale. So... While everybody flies their whatchamajigits and thingamabobs, a draak satellite floats overhead, spying on the scene of carnage, explosions, and denotative confusion below. Becoming tired of the event, it opens its great underbelly and releases a single nuclear device which plummets towards the planet only to detonate in the lower ionosphere, causing a great EMP wh
Okay, call out favorite weapon: M1 Garand!
Actually, looks like a mad cow ninja... and my zombie plan? I live in texas. Every person has at least one spam can of 30.06... ...I have two.
I see them upgrade weapons and armor. It could be a research issue, but I'm more inclined to think it's a purposeful block, like what you mentioned with the super weapons. Sad cause although I feel the Advent ability is a bit overpowered, it would make scouting take on new significance. btw, what's the means to disable fleet auto-join? I hate auto-join.
Okay, I know I can set my guys to autocast, but how do you set that for an AI? not harpo
I always thought the As were in charge.
Ryat, noticed you didn't argue with the high score image. Does someone need their liscense revoked?
Yeah, was playing with Ogrovs and noticed that I killed them before an animated shot, but the HP was taken off of a starbame all the same. Much like the ship construction, I assume all the impact decisions are made immediately when a weapon is fired. Not preferable imo, but whatcha gonna do. Question: Anyone know if there is an AI that will use the Advent's kick ass starbase abilities, such as teh AoE disabiling one? I imagine unfair might, but I'm not big on giving my enemy resource
I apologize. It's thrust to weight ratio which does affect top speed. As an object moves forward, it creates G force and the relative weight created during motion increases at greater speeds, creating a ceiling beyond which a given object can accelerate past. No vessel thus far has had an efficient enough engine to make it anywhere close to the speed of light. Back to the game... Has anyone noticed the description of Improved Arid Colonies is messed up? "Adapting constr
