I want to be proven right on an either/or question which ultimately says I'm stupid in either case... I don't see much of a gain here.
If I did, doesn't it already answer mine?
Humanity or did I say something stupid? (not including the fact that it's a redundant question) *edit: I think you're referring to simplicity as being the lowest common denominator... of course, could be wrong about that too.
Ockham's razor says simplicity is good, though. All that aside, I listen to ideas like these and find the boatload hilarious. Assume our own ignorance leads to enlightment. But if we assume our own ignorance, we use that ignorance to say we're better than others cause it makes us so. So are we all just proud of our modesty? [e digicons]8(|[/e] And remember what the bible says, "Judge not lest ye be judged." Doesn't mean you shouldn't judge, just that you should expect others
But is it not awareness of this ignorance which produces true knowledge? Or does supposed awareness lead to a slippery slope of continued ignorance?
It's basically a place where people can come and say anything they want while acting like a pompous jackass that looks down on the rest of the world... like college.
European covers a lot of ground. And don't give me that EU stuff. Britain proves that means nothing.
Aw, the poor non 'us' citizen. He's one of those 'thems'. Poor them. Harpo's the aussie, right? What's bset?
Jewish, so Xmas kinda doesn't work here... so tell me more about that Sun-God's climax. Bet that left a mess. <embed type="appl
Musta been a typo cause I thought they were trying to whip out people. And to think I was looking for someone with the abilities of a Warner Brothers cartoon.
NOW we can start the conversation about Hitler...
Yeah, but since they continuously fail to whip out people, they don't deserve seals, puppies and frogbeer. [e digicons][/e]
Actually, I've had allied victories quite often, assuming the AI generally finds me helpful and less of a threat than someone else nearby. The catch is that the AI is required to break alliance at the end of the game, so you have the cease fire period (which is what, a minute and a half?) to hit the accept victory button. If you continue on, the two of you will have to go to war. And I think it's probably more that the recent modifications have made the tech tree and what not easier f
MUAHAHAHA!!! ... I just wanted to feel accepted...
No, no, this is a sci-fi game. A time traveler did it.
Of all of those, I have to admit, the car on the roof confuses me the most. I would ask questions, but first I have to know what questions to ask.
Initially it was, but I had this shiver up my spine that said, "What if...?"
If by Avatar you mean a pic, I DO! If by Avatar you mean a genetic cross between a human and a Na'vi, I don't. If by Avatar you mean the ten incarnations of Vishnu, I don't know anyone that does. @Ryat: Rhetorical?
I'll bid 1601, Bob. TOP
Do they have anaerobic bacteria there?
ANY lifeform in an o2 rich atmosphere breaths in o2 and expels co2? Like plants?
