From my perspective, when I read a response like that, it can be difficult tell the theorycrafters from the story tellers. However, posts like "it's too early to judge balance" are a particular giveaway that a person is spewing nonsense. Have to disagree with you there AZ, at least partly. For those who already played beta it isn't too early but when I see somebody who played 50-100 games and this even with only 1 or 2 of t
i say what is true and if he thinks that tb can't kill late game he is so wrong that is like says you can't get pepperoni on a pizza
TB can kill late game, but he has to be facing opponents stupid enough to let that happen.
I just timed it, it has a ten second duration, not three. Don't forget other healing effects also contribute during this period too (like natural regen + items etc).
I realize it lasts 10 seconds. It heals a shit ton more than 2000/3000 during that time, because the 2000/3000 mark is met after just a few seconds. Natural regen does not account for the difference.
There have been tons of "nerf heart of life" posts and complaints. However, the only reason for this is that... THE ITEM IS BROKEN and not OP. It just does not work the way it says. It should heal 200 health per second + 300 mana, or whatever. Instead it heals about 1000 of each, and fully heals a 4k health DG in about 3 seconds. Please fix this.
It does give you a good excuse not to try though, right?
Looking at this from a perspective of who is good vs who, I think the easiest to counter are: 1) Rook 2) TB
Learn to play Minion builds. When Oak has 11 Minions out + grunt wave at lvl 5 with his AE attack speed increase, towers of any kind are cake.
This. Also true for QoT shamblers, Erebus rolypolys, and even yetis
Okay, if you do another fireball that's an extra 1050 damage. (Rain of Ice does 800, not 1000). So what? Still can't compete late game. Really? I lost a game to a very good lategame TB player with very high armor/health and nuking abilities.....he pushed hard into our base and beat us.
nah he doesn't need them it depends on who ur facing if it is a sedna i found towers own her if u set up 4 and set up 2 more while fighting her ull win/ force her to retreat
Or just kill creeps outside of the towers range, when the towers die Rook doesn't have the mana to sustain 6 constantly without 2 mana items (planar crown and vlemish). Also, Sedna really doesn't have a problem with towers in an
I'll state this again: On a map like Crucible, there is no way to go around the towers, so you have to deal with them. Unless you are Regulus, there is no effective way to kill the towers. On pantheon, you will never have to kill the towers as Regulus! TB doesn't count, since he has to walk into the gauntlet to freeze all of the towers. If he gets boulder rolled, he's screwed.
Minions eat towers for b
i use for tb when fighting a qot fireball taking down the first one firenova then rain off ice then frostnova then back to fireball again then a little dps dmg if she is still alive then ill do fire nova and maybe a fb if she is running fb has 4 sec recast ice has 10 i think fire nova 10i think frost nova i think is 15
Congratulations. You've done about 2.5 k damage
Erebus did not need a nerf, as there was plenty of ways to deal with his "OP" skills. Rook doesn't need a nerf, as there are even more ways to deal with towers. Problem is that people call nerf because they play one specific DG one specific way and expect to be on a level playing field with everyone else at all times. Fortunately, that is not the way this game works. Your uber build is going to have problems with some builds, and some builds are going to have lots of problems
It's too expensive in mana, and their damage is not high based on what I've seen. Skill points are very valuable to Sedna, as is mana, and her other skills are too good to be ignored. Yetis should be buffed, and her passive healing and pounce nerfed a bit to compensate.
yetis just need a lower casting cost and no collision factor with other creeps.
ididiot that would only count for the first skill most good tb players get atleast 3 abilites
If you really think that skill usage alone are enough to take down a defensive QoT or Sedna, I think we're done talking here, because you're simply talking about stuff you don't understand.
yh but i think thwere shouldn't be crit items they just seem retarded too me even the 3k ones are op espically in earily battles where u have low health a 400 dmg is a big chunk out of it
Because you want defense to be better than offense? Without crit items being as good as they are, sedna and QoT late game could be unstoppable.

Minion builds with defensive DGs (sedna and QoT especially) will kick Erebus' butt 1v1. In fact, I'd rather face him or UB more than any other DG 1v1 with a minion build.
