I've played quite a few games and I've used every hero extensively to try to find the best ways to exploit their potential. To anyone that says the game is balanced, I would say to you that you're in fact bad at the game. (no offense) That game is designed for 1:1 as much as it is 5:5. The skirmish and pantheon games cover all sizes of available matchups which creates an inherent disconnect between heroes that are amazing in 1v1 and t

Game is balanced better than any other strategy game I've seen, and definitely better than DotA. If you pick a certain DG there are going to be others that are OP against you. At the same time, depending on what DG you pick, you are going to be OP against some other DGs. Every DG is the "BEST" DG under the right circumstances and against the right opponents, on the right map, etc.

All i want is to at the very least understand the mechanics behind not allowing the determined victory type to actually function as the winning factor. this is a retarded idea. In every scenario of every game type, taking out the citadel is harder to do than the others, by a lot. Fortresses are way easier to take out. It's hard to destroy the citadel before dominate score is maxxed (though possible); plus if you destroy the citadel you are going to win dominate in about 10 seconds anyway. The only exception to this is the kill DG game that is only in singleplayer games, in which case AI are likely to die unless they are destroying you....</p
That is very interesting. We'll look to fix that before it makes it into release. We'll have to reduce your favor points in the DB.
You could just increase our favor points instead... We'd all be like "Damn you Frogboy for all this favor. You got us good!" Then we'd buy whatever we wanted always.

I'm having the same problem. Probably related, I'm having issues with achievements as well, which are listed as having all the achievements found for all DGs until the "initiate" achievement (win one game), which is not achieved, along with every other achievement underneath it. luckily I have won 250 games with each DG, which is nice!
Gold is more useful in his hands than mine. Well, no, not really. He's a snipe build Regulus, meaning he's putting focus into mana in order to be able to spam abilties and HP in order to stay alive. He can still make the switch over to an auto attack fiend, but unless he does this late game when his abilitiy skills have been maxed, he won't have things like angelic fury or maim leveled up to really see the benefits of using ar

I disagree with everyone on this thread so far. Point #1 is a very bad point. if Regulus is getting lots of kills and hoarding gold, he should immediately be getting base items, then mage slayer, then ashkandor (assuming he isn't going for some weird support build himself). Oak should be immediately fall into a support role in such a case, getting hp items to tank and saving up for catapult rush. The reason is simple, despite the fact that Regulus has more gold than you, gold is way more valu

He's sarcastically saying that we should all join BNet, which means that he's implying BNet is crap. That doesn't make any sense. Also, what does BNet have to do with a ladder system? It's just weird.
