in-game only. tilde to get rid of it. if you don't have a standard (standard by my frame of reference, lol) then try F2, or some of the other funny symbols that are for console on other games. i do believe there's a list of equilent console keys for SupCom (on the gaspowered forums) that might be worth searching for... it's pretty safe to assume that they've recycled some of the language-specific files for the engine.

wowowow! did you try playing with yourself (all three of you)??? and ditch FRAPS, use / instead... but that's another flamewar.

don't expect it to be fixed in a hurry, it's a rather nasty fault of Logitech's that affects many programs. some folks say it's related to the effects filter, but as i don't have any webcams at all i can't really point out the specifics. hopefully one of the other forum-goers will be able to help you further.

aww. DeadMG, you could have pointed out that i'm part of that largish community that proved it was extremely similar. (shameless pimping of my own mods incoming) afterall, i was the first to publicly release a mod for Demigod. back on topic. lifekatana, what flavour of windows are you using? (probably wise to indicate if this it's an x86 or an x64 version too) and it's not an Intel Int. DeadMG.
Perhaps they need a float(yadayadayad) in the line. If the xp of creeps is an int and # demigods is an int this will happen also. No reason exp shouldn't be a simple single precision float. There probably arn't that many calculations on it and I believe we all have a math coprocessor anyway. We are only talking 1 command per kill and like 8 bytes of memory per game (to store the demigod values).[/quot

that really should say Q2 2009. it's Spring right now (where i live, stupid) and for half a second i thought it was going to be released in 12 months time!
ati express 200 wont cut it, it only has 9c direct x
Demigod IS NOT a DirectX10 only game, saying it's only a DX9.0c card won't help the situation (after all, my 800GT can only run in DX9.0c mode under Windows XP... cue the dramatic; DUN-DUN-DUUUNNN.). however, Xpress 200's are based off X300 cores. the X300 lacks proper SM3.0 support and there's a dubious doubt if the beta runs properly without it.

mmm. why should he have to spend more money? heck, i've seen optical mouses with scrollers for $2.00. why blow that much on it? that said, all the track balls i've seen include some form of mechanism that functions as a scroll whell when needed.

there's lots more variety in the skills department; unlike in DotA you can tailor your DG to a specific role (that's limited somewhat to a few different flavours, but it's more variety than the 3 spells + 1 ultimate situation). this gives the game (this is IMHO) a huge leg up in the strategy department over DotA (which i've played a reasonable amount, but never been on any pro circuit). on the topic of system resources; my 256MB (don't laugh) 8800GT is regularly maxxing out at 100fps

why is it like that? well software engineers, like all engineers, spend most of their time drinking and leave real work to the week after (trust me, i am one). no body expects the the killer-hangovers and engine-level issues that need huge workarounds. and then there's QA... hold on, this isn't THQ. lol.

this *might* have a use in a uber-competitive mod (if i was with a few mates that i played and worked well together i'd certainly play this), but with a bunch of random people from across the interweb it would never work. to do this properly, it would require a re-balance of the other abilities (i mean all abilities, for all DGs) and that's something that a lone modder won't likely want to take up (i mean, i dabble in modding a

you might want to try teleporting to the Stronghold instead; it's very close the crystal, AND it's a much easier target to teleport to. and before you start casting; start running away. if you get the target (or stronghold) straight up then no sweat of your shoulder, but if you miss you still have the consolation of being slightly further away from the front-line and hence that much safer.
that better be sarcasm... otherwise that post is bad and wrong. and for the record; i'd say Mike 'Tyo' Marr is making DG over Chris Taylor.

i would assume an underscore is fine (standard underscores are indeed ASCII characters), then again it won't hurt to whip out an extra account without it and try.

for the benefit of the forum, lines 18 and 19 are;
mount_contents(SHGetFolderPath('PERSONAL') .. '/My Games/Gas Powered Games/Forge/mods', '/mods') mount_contents(SHGetFolderPath('PERSONAL') .. '/My Games/Gas Powered Games/Forge/maps', '/maps')
since they point to somewhere inside of your windows logon and you have a non-English language setup, i'm going to assume you have non-standard (ala. non-ASCII) characters in your username. did i guess correc

none. it's a bunch of individual fella's (the Demigods) who are each vying for the top job. the whos-who of Demigod can be found several times across the forum too.
