So if I pre-order now, is it definite that I will get in beta 2?
YES!!!
Well the pre-release section is checked but I still don't have anything in there. Is there supposed to be or will there only be an icon when Beta 2 is actually released?
Checking show pre-release allows beta versions and patches to show up. The reason you don't currently see the Demigod icon, is that you have not been charged for yet. When the Beta 2 release day comes, they will charge people's cards. When they g
Great review there Zoomba. I've been an ATI fanboy forever (ragepro days). It is nice to see the 4850, 4870, and 4870x2 offer great performance and value to customers. I would just like to know because I really want in to Beta 2 and I don't wanna miss out because I didn't take care of this. Thanks for the help
I have been making a case for this to stardock. It confuses and annoys customers to not know. Any confusion and annoyance in their
How about your dxdiag? Also, I have a 3870 and have been getting wierd problems with 8.11. The game works fin for me so far, but I have the comp stay in standby mode if I leave it alone too much
Try emailing stardock support on this one. That will get a super quick answer for you. Posting on here may not get the answer as quickly. If you email or call them, they will help you quickly.
I purchased Demigod through the main Demigod.com page without having a stardock account. I realized afterwards that to play in the beta I would need one. So I registered. How can I attach the previously purchased pre-order to my account to ensure I'll be in the next beta?
I posted my reply to you in another thread. Zubaz is correct, here is my reply from the other thread: I did the same thing

I would like to see a daily screen cap building up to the release. They could start with "finalized" Beta 2 features like the menu, then a single player setup (to reveal if it is available), the a pic of the shop menu, the citadel upgrade screen, and so on and so forth. Would be a nice teaser. Is it just me or is it clear from this thread alon that I don't sleep enough.
Update from irc today: 9:42 AM There is no Demigod update this week - probably not next week either because its Thanksgiving in the U.S. and we'll be closed part of the week. 9:49 AM plans are tenuous things... they change a lot 9:49 AM and we'd rather do things right than rushed Hope no one is too bummed.
So when the Beta is released, will we all be notified to where to go to download.... or how exactly does that work? (realises his comp will be needing about a week for download with his net connection)
I am assuming you are new to the beta. If this works similar to beta 1, as I am reasonably sure it will, your card will be charged and when you next load impulse or click the "check f
I just blew in my pants
That's disgusting. My question is #1, #2, or of the semenal variety? On second thought, don't answer that.
This is most likely not a demigod related issue, but confined to your setup. What have you changed in the last several days? Any other games on your system? Do those run fine? Does anything show up on the task manager?
I second that with completely selfish goals. Question is do you want you Handle or Real Name listed?
All of a sudden, this thread makes more sense to me. Maybe it helps that rational people who are not blind (figuratively, and apparently literally) are making posts.
I just pre-ordered 11/11, is there a snowball's chance in hell that I'll get to try it?
Yes, you will DEFINATELY get in. [e digicons]:D[/e] Anyone who orders the beta before the beta 2 release will get in. Also, it seems frogboy may be stating from Beta 2 on, is open to all those who have or will purchase the game up until release. I am however unclear

Seems a look in the luas wont hurt, thx Trigeminal!
Yes, I'm new to this lua thing, but boy are they useful. We have really been able to get some sneak peaks from them and I hope they are instrumental in modding. I want this game to be great and sell big.
They don't expire. They're there until they're killed. There are limits to how many you can summon at a time based on the type of minion you've purchased (there's no limit to the # of unique minions you can bring in but the generic minions have limits).
Thanks for the info. Can't wait for the next beta.
They definately do damage.
Looks great , I can't wait. Heah, that ryhmes. Damn I nearly caught myself in time. Oh god, oh no, oh shit. I am not sure I'm able to quit. I must just be too overjoyed, that this Demigod I love,... will soon be deployed. (It is even funnier when you hear me sing it.)

As you can see below, the Artifact Shop reports "out of range" when uncaptured when you click on the shop to by something. Furthermore, when you capture the shop, it still reports "out of range" until you close the shop window and reopen it.
