Yes, it's in the link I posted [e digicons]:)[/e]
Well, then you agree it is going to be in 1.6...? :)
I think you will be very disappointed if you expect administrative points to be released in 1.6 considering it was never mentioned when it will be added to the game.
Well, I am pretty sure I´ve read somewhere that it is gonna be in 1.6 and subsequently starbases rework will be pushed to 1.7. Will try to find that quote up. Can anybody clarify?
Nothing? Nobody? Really? :)
I am curious, how the administrative resource will work. Finally another dimension in the severly underwhelmed internal politics subsystem! It seems rationale it would enter opt-in together with Mercenaries beta, doesn´t...? :)
I pray for the fix on AI huggin :)
Well, current 1.5 build is a nice upgrade, but it feels sort of half-hearthened. Nice features, but the implementation needs more love. My main thoughts are following: Current "leave my territory" mechanics is just unfinished. So you have a hostile civ that does not like you and parks all his ships near your HW (of course). Ask them to leave? They won´t. Well, what other options do you have? I guess in that case, you should be able to attack their ships in
The AI doesn't like being told what to do regardless of whether or not they comply with your request. The AI can refuse if they are unfriendly with you (or worse). Making the request does not explicitly declare war but it may push you towards it.
AI declining to leave should definitively allow you attacking its ships in your ZOC, without DOW, but with huge relations penalty. Otherwise it just doesn´t make sense.<
What always put me off in SK as well as in the FE was the extremely limited scale of the game. It is hard to believe you are fighting an epic battle, when there are like 15 soldiers involved from each side :-/ Would be great if we can at least adjust the number of figures in an unit via some sort of "Unit size" setting.
That is sad, was hoping to test it through weekend :/
Hi Derek, it was very interesting. Where can we download the mod? And can´t you make a part of official 1.5 patch? :)
Finally, FINALLY some new governments, at least little bit! Looking forward to this one, despite its just a mod :)
Sounds extremely interesting! Finally, the decision making in GCIII wil get some intrigue and important decisions will have tangible downsides. Do not hesitate to release it as soon as possible, Frogboy :)
Was hoping that political parties and governments would come much earlier :/
I am experiencing this as well. It is extremely annoying and it is lagging the game as well, due to sheer number of ships in small space. Has it been adressed with the newest 27/10 update?
Frogboy, looks great, but how about the advanced governors, senators and the election stuff? That is gonna go through an expansion?
OMG, looks great Derek! One question: can we get larger unit sizes, to get more epic feeling in the late game? I remember Frogboy once mentioned he´s working on those...
Well, can you indicate, what the expansion is gonna be about? Just to not get with our ideas totally off the table [e digicons]O:)[/e]
Me the same. Won´t download no matter what the Betas settings are.
This is exactly what I am looking forward to. Internal politics of GCIII is very bland so far and this looks extremely promising. Just add more in terms of empires´ instability (i.e. low approval = riots, separatist movement etc.) and you move the game on the entirely new level. Even Napolen had to correct his military strategy because of "troubles" at home :) ETA?
Would be very interested to try this out, sadly Steam wont donwload the beta no matter what I do :-/
Very, very cool Stardock logo in the beginning :) Good job!
I wish to thank Stardock for another great experience and superb game! I wish Galciv III big success and I am looking forward to, eh, future cooperation ;)
I get black screen lock-up like every other time I launch battle or invasion viewer. Rather annoying :-/
What features remain to be implemented in the final days?
Derek, can you please make it so that if you conquer enemy system and its (original) shipyard has no other sponzors, it will either flip to you as well or become decommissioned? So that we won´t have space flooded with remnant shipyards, especially in the case of influence flip-overs. Thank you.
