Why not make 10 versions of the tree at different values and display the tree that corresponds to the current total? Depending on the size of the tree you won't be able to see small variations of a few percent anyway. I don't know of many people that analyze a chart and see if it's exactly 43% as opposed to 40%. There are ways however of creating graphs using PHP or other languages. Do some searches for survey scripts to look at examples. Ho

It might be cool to have an Expose-like program for Windows There is one called WinPLOSION.
I gave this a try a while back while there were still in early beta. It's a neat idea, just doesn't work well as a desktop replacement. Navigation wasn't that great even with a little globe telling you where you were in the sphere. Doesn't take a lot of resources, which is good. A great toy for about 5 minutes until you realize 2d is good.
There isnt a script for flipping images like you want to... Unfortunatly.
Are you trying to download a free gadget? Or have you paid for it?
I just tried to upload a gadget to the library for the second time. Each time I try, there is no record of me uploading it. In the UnPublished gadgets link under My Account, there is no reference to it in any of the dropdown menus. Did this automatically get deleted? What's going on?
If you read my first post (#215), I suggested this only for new ODNT subscribers . These people would already have access to unlimited downloads (except subscriber specific skins). So being able to download unlimited skins is not really the issue. I also stated that this would only be a one week trial for some of the subscriber features on WC, such as the photo album and rating skins. I only suggested this because I thought it may b
The only reason I suggested a one week trial would be to let people try out some of the features they would get. Not including the unlimited downloads. I know there is a trial version of the WB browser. But what about some of the other features?
Very generous gesture.
When I buy a CD player, I don't expect to get my music for free. Here, Stardock is providing Object Desktop users with unlimited bandwidth use of WinCustomize, just not to subscriber specific skins. When I purhcased my MP3 player, I recieved some free music from an online music store as a 'taste' of
scorpio-logic: Agreed.
As a side note: when you disable the welcome screen, the shortcut to the Task Manager is CTRL+SHIFT+ESC. It's a little quicker than CTRL+ALT+DEL > Task Manager
You can view this window by disabling the welcome screen. Control panel > User Accounts > Change the way users log on and off. If you want to customize this check out WinT's mod: http://wint.virtualplastic.net/showtweak.php?tweak_id=82 Disclaimer: remember to backup any dll’s you are modifying.
I believe the yearling means you've been a subscriber for a year or longer. Don't hold me to that though

I may design some for the heck of it. And I don't even own a PSP!
Good episode. I defiantly agree on a disclaimer sound clip for Brad's rants On a side note, I just discovered subscribing to this Podcast via iTunes! I never thought of dropping a copy on my iPod before. I am so behind the times!
I've encountered this bug as well. However, it doesn't happen all the time.
hmmmmmm...
How on earth does this remind you of WinPLOSION? That's what I think of when I see window placement/mantainence programs. It's strange how my mind works
Reminds me of a program I tried out a while ago called WinPLOSION It's a pretty cool program, I belive it's based off of something done in OSX.
I'm having the same problems and am curious to find out why it's not working.
I'm still a fan of IE. Always have. I've recently tried FF and found I didn't like how it displayed some text and tables on some pages. As for the side note, I'm using Outlook Express to handle 3 accounts. Seems to work well. Not sure what else to recommend though
What WB version are you using? This was happening to me with the "Open With..." dialog. I upgraded to 4.9c and it seemed to fix it.
2. On a few occasions, I receive a 'malicious script' warning, asking me whether I should stop it, allow it once, authorise etc. Why does this happen, and what are the implications for allowing once, or authorising it? That usually happens with the widget stores information in the registry. Norton wil
