Galactic Civilization 3 plus Steamworks would be awesome

I want the Sins 2 game to become more like : Homeworld: Real 3D tactics, formation, ship movement, and lego like ship interconnectivity. Sins is so close to topping the king. If you combine Sins empire management with Homeworld's 3D, ship movements (no bumper boats) and formations. I would be in heaven. <stron

The same game that received 90% plus on the over-whelming majority of reviews from the critics. The same game that is still riding high in the charts on Steam and still one of the top played games on Steam. As I have said use facts, not opinions. Every joke has an element of truth. Why mention 'streamlining' unless he knew that is what has disappointed so many with the Civilization series. I am sorry, I do not find anything amusing about the statement.
There's been some assumptions here about what my joining Stardock will mean for the games the studio will be putting out from now on. Fear not all - they'll be clearly recognizable as Stardock games. One thing that I will say though, is that Stardock's games are awfully complex, and probably need to be streamlined some so as to not confuse new players . I can't talk about too many detail

I would like to have a fraction with no magic and only strong traditional warfare. It would be a nice part of the elemental lore. A fraction that is fed up of magic and wants to destroy al
In the real world of software features, managers will take 500+ software updates suggestions from users, sales and engineers. Each of these suggestions are assigned a cost related to how many man hours it would take to implement. Departments are then given a fixed amount to spend on that version. Stardock could do something similar with Elemental. Now, the major changes and direction of each expansion would be decided by Stardock, but all the little ideas should gathred together and a
I would like to see chldren incorporated into the AI NPC behavior. For Example: The son of a rival AI NPC becomes infatuated with your daughter, sends an army, attacks your city only to kidnap her and leave. He becomes ostracized by his family and is forced to form his own fraction. You are then forced to mount a campaign to rescue her within a certain number of turns or lose her to the captives.
I brought the game 3 weeks ago. Honestly, when I first started playing it, I was beginning to question my purchase. The game grew on me and now I can not get enough. I love the artwork and atmosphere. Last night I decided to play Civilization V after they recently patched it to see what was fixed. For God's sake, 2K still has not fixed the rivers! While playing I found myself missing Elemental. While Elemental has a few bugs and did lockup once on move 202 (Grrrrr), I am excit
Firstly, let me state that I do not like the way roads look. They should be more natural. There are two bugs 1. There is no path finding. Roads will connect rival cities passing through anything in their path. 2. The enemy will still create a road to a previously conquered city, even when it is no longer under their control. PS. I love Elemental's artwork. The style has unlimited potential. I am really looking forward to what this game will eventually
I have some screen shots that I would like to submit. There needs to be a sticky or sub-section for bug or feedback reporting.
I agree that the concept of teleportation has no place in Elemental... Now, folding space, that's an entirely different matter.
Cutscenes are overrated in strategy games. I would much rather have graphs and a timeline that can show how events moved and altered the maps's control. I love have Civ IV does it where you can watch the nations volley for control like opposing amebas trying to devour each other.
I agree with the OP. As more and more titles get 'simplified' or 'steamlined' hard core strategy gamers are having a difficult time. Look what happened to Supreme Commander series. Even Civilization V, although adding some nice concepts, has lost a lot of its depth. Galactic Civilization 2 is awesome, the only thing I would like tweaked is the ship to ship combat animations. It took me several months to learn the nuances and I enjoyed every minute. The shipyard is really fun once you fi
GC2 has been on my watch list for a while. Right now I am very busy with other games and mods, but if the price was right I can never turn away from a good bargin. [e digicons][/e]
Since Diplomacy will be the last microexpansion, how about letting your modders fill in the gap while you work on the next project (abeit an expansion or Sins-2) 1. Design Contest Hold a competition for the next two races. Of course you guys would have to handle the balancing issues. But at least allow modders to submit their ship designs. Designs would have to contain elements to support their function and similiar design themes to suggest one race. You can s
This is actually false. While they don't technically conduct trade, their existance adds credit income to their originating trade port. If they are destroyed, that income per second is gone until a new one is spawned. It used to be that you only got credits when they reached their destinations, however it was changed to credits per second while the trade ship is alive to have a clearer representation in the economy.
That's an
It's ashamed. I would be very happy paying for microexpansions that continue to affect gameplay and improve the product. I just don't know if a software company could prosper on micro transactions alone. My fear is if they stop doing microexpansions and start to work on a Sins-2 there may be a long delay before we see a product. During this delay, many people will move on to other products and Ironclad may have some strong competition in the RTS space genre when Sins-2 finally comes out (ie Home
I have an awesome SP large map going with some of the AI set at hard. I am playing TEC and have my capital planet next to a wormhole and my tech tree allows for wormhole travel. All my star bases are set up with trading posts. I have trading agreements with another race on the other side of the wormhole. So... Why do my trading ships insist on flying through the war zone rather then use the wormhole? (The wormhole path seems to have less jumps but it
All these postings are great suggestions. My favorite RTS of all time was Empire Earth 1 and 2. It was a great sandbox RTS with a massive tech tree. I am not sure how active the mutilplayer is after they shut down the original servers but the single player campaigns were pretty good. I remember one where you had to secretly build an army while the warlords in the area kept extrorting money. They would patrol your area and if they spotted any military units they declared war and wiped you out
I agree. Please.
From what I have seen in alpha videos, it seems that Supreme Commander 2 will duplicate Demigods DOTA style. The demigods will be highly customized ACUs and the creeps customized versions of some of the older support units. This is what concerns me about the future of Demigod. Demigod is ultimately a team game and unless we are given the tools to support it (VOIP, map editor etc...) I can not see it surviving past post Starcraft II. Which is ashame, because there is an aweso

I have been playing Sedna and try to stay in the back lines as a healing class. I have always have touble leveling this type of build. I recently discovered that my minion kills do not help me level up. What is the point of being a general if you can't get credit for your minion's kills. Am I missing something here? Do I have to be within a certain range?
