#863 - Can be used in combination with Gladiator Gloves against a clearly inferior opponent to even the odds.

Demigod General doesn't load properly now like on Saturdays: PS: I noticed each time this happens the loading time increases by a few seconds. Hope that helps. Thanks for looking into it Bara! :)
I was wondering if we could take Granny meshes from other content (the archer towers maybe) and resize them until they can be used as basis for a map. We would have to do something about the textures though.
/signed Or remove all benefits from killing an AI player (XP and gold). Pleeeease!
I made a few tutorials for the official SupCom map editor back in the day: http://www.insidesupcom.de/forumdisplay.php?f=210&styleid=13&langid=1 A good place to start is probably the list with links: http://www.insidesupcom.de/showthread.php?t=13772&styleid=13&l
Strange, Spooky and I tested it and it worked perfectly. Either I had a black out moment or it was a glitch. Probably my bad. Well, the main topic is still a valid request I guess. Would be nice too see right away if there are custom settings in the game.
it's nice that the game notifies other players on game setting changes when they are already in the lobby
I think this only works if you have not clickt ready or something. I checked the settings when I entered and the looked standard except for fortress. There was no notification for me after that. (I clickt ready late and was keeping an eye on the connection info.)
I just took part - unknowingly - in a filthy rich, level 20 custom game on Cataract. It lastet 1:58 minutes. Please guys, I don't mind playing with unusual rules but at least announce them in the game lobby, better in the game name!!! It's extremely irritating if you buy your usual level 1 stuff for 1000 gold only to notice that you could have bought all your good equipment from the get-go. I was one of the lucky few who realized it just in time and I had my build I wanted to play pla
It happened to me once by accident. Everybody was like: Jessep, WTF did you do?!?! I think it should be possible once each game for the lulz, after that the other team should get the kill. :)
Well, I'm not saying it's a bad idea. Actually I like the idea - as long as it is optional. It would make for a very interesting setting for custom games (like faster spawns, tougher creeps/towers). However, I think it would be best to test it thouroughly before it is implemented in Skirmish or Pantheon or as a global feature. This is very similar to how one-armed bandits and lotteries work. You are promised a large reward for an unlikely event and it will encourage many people to tak
What happened? Demigod General has no topics in it, only pinned posts and subcategories. Site loads even longer than usual (>>30 seconds). When this happened A few minutes ago (GMT+1: 11:05 AM, 5:05 AM EST?). It's still down though, usually for a few hours (same thing happened on the last two weekends, roughly about the same time). Which page this happened on http://forums.demigodthegame.
GER are cool guys but they will keep speaking german
Thank you very much! :) I will always chat in English unless I'm absolutely sure all players are from Germany. Coming to think of it, I played several games with all GER players and we chatted in English. If in doubt, join and ask your teammates if they are willing to chat in English.
It depends on the demigod you play really, if you're a rook you need to have a lot of health or you will die faster than you can say WTF.
Same with Assassin Oak, some Sedna builds or Ooze Unclean Beast.
All I ever hear is: nerf, nerf, nerf. How about buffing some of the gloves instead? I like buffs better than nerfs...
Actually, I'd say give new players +500 HP in the first 5 games, then reduce it by 100 each game until the 500 HP bonus is gone. Online multiplayer is extremely unforgiving and new player could use a little help to get started.
/signed I liked the old chat better. Seeing the map is crucial and the chat window is rather large. I'd rather have the values of the health, mana and XP bar displayed. It would be so much more useful...
Well, we will get it back, as Frogboy's recent journal entry is saying .
Nice, I liked the stats page, it was nice to have it in a tab in my browser and to look for interesting games. I also use my browser to chat, it was so useful.
my girlfriend and I waitered at a Sonny's she would get 150-250$ a night for being charming lol, id get maybe 80
This needs to be adressed by Stardock asap! GPG start on the balancing patch, time is money!!!1!one!eleven1 ;)
Please expect a hug from my ambassador:
It's a balancing problem. If they would make minions stronger some assassins would have a really hard time. A good minion build can do a LOT of damage to a demigod without strong AoE. Torchy will roast the whole bunch and ask for seconds though. It is really hard to find a good balance without blurring the border between high burst damage to a single target and AoE. I think they did a pretty good job on the balance mostly.

Very good list _Shadow! [e digicons]k1[/e]
Your concerns seem to be based off a 1v1 scenario
Actually, my concerns are based on a 3v3 scenario where one player would constantly try to get his revenge against a superior player. One team will have to spend a considerable amount of time to try and: - keep your teammate from going into a fight he will usually lose - gank the nemesis which leaves his two teammates free to do whatever they want It's a good strategy for experienced players
In my experience the average player is a lot more experienced and harder to play against than let's say a month ago. Think about it: how tough it might be for a new player to get into online games. He probably has no or only weak favor items. Games without favor items are rare and many players wouldn't stay in a custom game without them. (Actually one of my builds kinda depends on a certain favor item...) [e digicons]:X[/e] The AI won't help you much to learn how to play against a hu
You will probably hate me for saying this but... In my experience if you have died to a certain player repeatedly, it is likely he will kill you again unless you get lucky. He has probably better gear, a level advantage and sometimes more experience. This means he's faster, has more HP and damage and may have a crucial ability more (like an interrupt or stun). Let's say we had that revenge system in place, what would happen? - New players would try to get back at their
