I'd love to hear if you guys are getting games going without me using the voice chat, so do tell if that's the case. The XvX vent bal games are great especially for dedicated puggers, but my #1 goal is to get more people in the DG community using voice chat (which, IMO, will keep upping the level of competition and fun).
I was logged in there yesterday, but my time zone wasn't ideal I think. Didn't get a game there.

I see people keep mentioning 'bugs' and how to report them. I would say: that's true, in case there is enough content to go bug hunting on! 'Cloth map' type of releases usually don't have enough content to even warrant reporting such detailed stuff as 'bugs', apart from crashes that prevent you from testing. I have no idea however what state Elemental is in.
I'm not really sure what the difference is between this sub section and the technical support section? What should we post where?
1. Neverwinter Nights 2 2. Hellgate: London 3. Pirates of the Burning Sea Luckily, after the last two, I got way more sceptic about buying games at release. So I avoided buying Spore and Warhammer Online. I'm slowly regretting buying Demigod now too, because I bought the game for MP and as the weeks tick by, less and less friends are interested in trying the game. I keep telling them not to buy yet because it has problems that need to be solved first, before we
This is something to give the devs a aiming point at tracking finding and eliminating this bug. The reverb must have some loop (infinite) that is running down the processors on the sound cards. I have a 1995 Audigy gamer (very first one) in my machine (yes its still working > Turn reverb on and FPS drops to 0-3 fps. So Stardock devs !! comment on this and seek this bug out

I have done this, and yet my sim speed is still quite low :/
With the new beta version that was released on Friday as well? If not, you might want to try out the beta version or wait for Monday for the full release of that version. If the sound isn't the issue, then I would suggest sending in a support ticket.
And if the above isn't the issue, you might take a look at this thread: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/348232 There have been issues reported with the sound system slowing down both the FPS and sim speed and they're working on it. Maybe you're on of the people who have this issue. The beta version that got out this weekend seems to help a lot so far. At least for the few people who have tried the beta.
How can we get the beta?
Start Impulse, then go to the menu (round button with logo in the top left) and choose 'Preferences...'. Then tick the box 'Show pre-release versions'. You now should get the beta versions in My Games.
The BETA is up. We plan to push this to release on Monday as it’s massively better. What’s new in this beta: Fixed sound performance issue (for users who were having to run without sound)
Just tried a match and yay! I can now actually start playing the game. On to MP next, for the first time.

I've had a lot of disappointments in the past 1,5-2 years. In total more disappointments than in the prior 20 years. All of these disappointments come done to games being released buggy/unfinished/unplayable. To name a few: Pirates of the Burning Sea (they changed some of the game play dramatically going from beta to release, which made the game a totally different game suddenly), Hellgate (buggy, plus a really odd subscription model), Spore (insane DRM and the gameplay wasn't that great in t
