Plus as they become less significant, Publishers are going to start getting the nerve to tell Gamestop to "stuff it" one of these days. If you've got sales at Walmart, Best Buy, and Digitally... cutting Gamestop isn't going to impact your margin by a lot anymore.
Except last I heard a lot of Gamest

The last one I purchased was a year afte

The consumerist used to be a great site. Now they have a censorship overlord named Roz who filters only new members and not oldies and keeps the opinion pages titled in one direction half the time, and they dont' check out their stories nearly enough for my tastes.

Of course, I could be wrong, it's been a year since I took my last class for my econ minor.
Well it's been longer than that for me, although it wasn't my minor. The supply-side theory though was Say's Law, although I am more than willing to tell you there is no one and only in terms of accepting one eco

Because unwrapping things is way more fun than just checking an e-mail
Agree. Delayed gifting is a must for me. I guess I'll stick to my usual then, Amazon and BM stores for my game/software gifting. And yeah, not a lot of fun involved in opening up an e-mail b

All right here is a question for you gentlemen, and the handful of women that might be around of course. It's the season of gifting, and as a gamer, games are often at the top of the list for my fellow gamers. I've said before that I prefer retail boxes for a lot of reasons, and they look pretty under the tree too, but for my distant relatives and for price and practical reasons, sometimes digital might be aok except, I can't find a way to gift via Steam, Impulsue or Direct2Drive and com

The SP to MP has been brought up numerous times. It's unfortunate that that only 4% of the users are women, though I can't say I am entirely surprised. I suspect Steam isn't much better considering there is pretty much zero attempts to attract women gamers. I, however, enjoy the service a lot more than Steam so far. Now the one world, one price. That was interesting. It was also a noble attempt that will probably show up years later saying Stardock was too ahead of its time for that s

But after some thought, and seeing a few examples of DLC, I've had a complete turnaround. I now thing DLC can be a great thing, CAN be. For me, it was Fallout 3 that changed my mind. I like the idea, and hope it catches on, but only under certain rules. The b

If that doesn't work you might have to find what the update number is and then go into add and remove programs and uninstall it. Someone with a little more knowledge will probably stop by and let us know if I am right. Give it a little time.
Well ever since windows live messenger forced everyone to upgrade to the 14 version, my sister and I am no longer able to use voice chat with that messenger. It's been our messenger of choice because her company uses it so we sort of stuck with it. She has a Dell Mini 9. Windows MSN Live 8.5 worked fine. AIM, Yahoo, Skype, pretty much all the other programs work fine with it but this new version has my voice all chopped up at her end. We've already updated her sound drivers to the lat

I think that Dragon Age: Origins is the finest videogame ever created even without a single plece of DLC, free or otherwise. And I think that we should judge a game's value by itself instead of being jealous of "what could've been" if you had more money. And the base game is easily worth the $50 asking price, for anyone with

I guess I am in the state of mind where it is not my business to tell people what they are allowed or not allowed to watch or play or listen to. If parents aren't willing to police their own children, the answer is not to come into my home and tell me what is allowed and what isn't. I am a grown woman. It's my choice. I'd like to see more adult content (sexual and thought provoking stuff) and less violence in the games I, I repeat, I play. There are several series I don't touch because I

Well Japan isn't giving the 360 as much love as they want so I am certain they'll pay whatever to try and get more. Tokyo is huge though, so what's relevant to one crowd (gamers, anime and manga fans), may not be relevant to another. It's too bad most of Left 4 Dead's advertisement focuses so little on actual gameplay. I hate it when ads focus on the game's videos and not the 99% of the part of the game you are actually playing.
