Like where? You mean plasma storms/magnetic clouds? Or the background artwork? Either way, without them the game wouldn't be so beautiful. Even if they shouldn't really be there. It would be plain dull.
Okay, here's what you do for this game: You have to "ban" the person who posted above you for an outrageous, silly, or funny reason. Got it? Ready, set, BAN!
UNbanned for having a very cool idea.
if a starbase is fully upgraded and well placed against a direct assault, there's not much you can do about it.
Nailed. That's what I'm talking about. Sometimes you can go around a starbase, but sometimes you actually have to kill it. A starbase is not just an immobile block that doesn't hurt you. It is an immobile block that can shield the whole enemy fleet. His fleet can ruin your nearby worlds and safely retreat to where you cannot h

For example, the ruiner could 'throw' a cloud of mines som
Maybe if you knew how underpowered TEC Capital Ships are compared to the standard Advent or Vasari Cap. The Marza levels the table, which is why TEC players aren't rioting like you are for being underpowered.
You're joking, right? I mean, I admit EGG is fouled up. I'm tired of everyone going EGG without thinking. The only other thing you might consider is Vulkoras for rushing his home/roid , but that only works if you're being f

a] Mind he's also Vasari. If you have phase stabz, why can't he have them as well? b] jumping behind enemy lines is hardly a really clever idea. You're sending your fleet into a remote place, cut off from reinforcements, surrounded by his culture, his production facilities, his phase stabz... It takes a very well scouted and coordinated attack to actually cause more damage to the enemy than yourself. c] Remember everything costs money. You can't throw three kosturas

I'm totally baffled with this unit. Yes it is the only minelayer cruiser in the game, yes it is supposed to be used offesively (like everything Vasari), but seriously, wtf is the use of this? I tried to experiment a bit with Ruiners but can't figure out any clever uses of them. The best I could do was cleaning Terran planets around 10th minute or powerleveling my cap. What I did was tanking the defenders in one end of the gravwell with my cap and setting up two cl

Holy cow, how you people just LOVE going around the subject. Best way to fight it is not to fight it. Damn how I'm sick of this argumentation. As if world was made exclusively of idiots that don't know why it is stupid to place Starbases in gravwells that can be easily circled. What if you actually HAVE to down that starbase? When the nearest way around it is 6 jumps away while that starbase is connected to an important world in your trade chain? When that Star

23k HP means it has everything done that can increase its hull. 4 defense upgrades and all hull researches. This is a tough fight. A swarm of bombers is your best bet, but there is really no good counter to that starbase on the Vasari side. You *could* build your own starbase (prepare a few dozen Overseers to heal it as it is deployed), but it really is a very disadvantageous battle, as ther is nothing really you can field that the defender can not. Vasari against 23k HP
However, there are some minor tweaks that I would ask the devs to take a look at....
detail Totally Agreed, particularly important for Vasari whose starbases rarely get built in 'safe' spots (as in, every seconds of idleness in their build queue may cost you dearly and you ARE usually fighting someone that very moment). Totally Agreed, as above good

You know what? In my humble opinion, the way 2 progs are capable of keeping a small advent fleet alive against huge amounts of enemies is THE way cap ships should work. Will 2 progenitors wipe a whole enemy fleet in 25 seconds? No they will not. They are a tremendously good support for your fleet and THAT is what I believe cap ships should do. Advent is the leader in this case, having a ton of abilities that support the fleet very w
If your confronted by a large fleet with a lvl. 6+ Marza in tow, focus your firepower on the support ships, and have your antimatter specialists(a.k.a.
incremental adjustment is how game balancing is done. no matter how well intentioned your idea is, it WILL have consequences that you don't foresee. the smaller change is inherently the better change because it has fewer unforeseen consequences. Whoever you are or however smart your reasoning may be, if you write an illegible post using big fat letters... ... you just sound like a crybaby noob. And it is not crybaby noobs that are discussing balance right now. With all due respect to crybaby noobs.
