I think the moral of the story here is to simply buy games when you can afford them and with money you can afford to spend. What you pay for things is largely irrelevant as sales will come and go and everything drops in price over time anyway. It's more about whether or not you're willing to wait and what you're willing to spend at the time.
Wait till release! [e digicons];)[/e] But if you get it from our store, you still get it from Steam. The only difference is that Valve doesn't take their 30% commission.
Hey chief!! Missed ya buddy. Thanks for the quick reply :) . Should I "really" wait for release though? You know I'm impatient. Also, you know you want me to throw money at you :D . If you really think I should wait I'll hold o
So I'm going through some emails today and I had a old birthday greeting and a survey with a discount from my good friends at Stardock, and low and behold I get a %10 discount, which is awesome :), thanks guys. On Steam (which there doesn't appear to be sales tax?) I can get the game for $49.99. The only real plus for Steam for me is auto-updates and the mod community with the workshop. Using my discount I can get it from your store for $47.91. If I get it through your store do I get
You can do that with some mammoths too. They get stuck behind trees pretty easily. The smaller than giant sized animals like the dreaded Bears or saber cats or wolves seem to have better pathing and will find their way around rocks or trees to get you.
I've had my eye on this for a while, watched a lot of "Let's Plays" on Youtube , and I think I want to pick this up while it's on a slight sale on Steam for the next few days. Anyone else been playing this and how is it so far? I know it's still early and no-where near feature complete yet, but what is it's potential, and is it fun currently? Thanks for any opinions both good or bad, especially the bad if it has a lot. I've also been keeping an e
Starbound Beta is out Dec 4th (in less than a week). You can get the cheapest pre-order straight from Starbound's site for $15 right now, and that will include a Steam Key as well once they launch on Greenlight later next year.

So no controllable battles ala Elemental or MoO 2? Damn...that makes me a sad panda :( . I think I'll hold off on my pre-order now. Makes me wonder how substantial the weapon types will be now as well. In Gal Civ 2 there were different types of weapons (Mass, Laser, etc) but they really didn't mean anything at all. Mass weapons were still blocked completely by shields if the shields were strong enough (among other things I could point out) and it made the weapon types complete
Loving Enemy Within. I'm on the game's last mission again on the temple ship. It's a shame they didn't tweak the ending a little to accommodate the new content from EW. Honestly, with all the content in EW, it really feels the way this iteration of XCOM should have felt from launch. Great expansion though, but I still can't shake the feeling half of this was done before the game even launched and they cut it up into a expansion to milk the game (and our wallets) for some m

To get to it, browse in Bridge or minibridge, navigate to the image you want and right click (or File>Open with) and choose Camera RAW, I believe. Never had CS4, so I can't tell.
I don't fully understand it... but basically where it references filename.png, if it finds a file named filename.png it will use that... if not it will look for a file called filename.dds and use that instead. So basically, you can (and should) save your skin as mynewskin.dds, but you can put mynewskin.png in the xml and it will work fine. That should work fine. In your example in your first post, it will
HAHA!!! Success!!! Turns out my system can automatically convert the DDS's to a PNG for me to work with without me needing to use a online app. So, one tiny step done. I still need to figure out how they're being stored and if I can make skins show up in game the same way I did before though.
I did find a online converter that will change DDS files into PNGs for me to work with but I don't recall it being necessary before. I feel like a dumbazz for not being able to remember how to do this. I had editing skins down to a science before where it was really easy for me to edit the base skins. First I just need to get back to that point. As I said in another thread, I'm a skinner, and definitely not a coder. Before I had the old team helping me out I had to straight to t
@RavenX: Maybe the absolute best thing for her to start with is camera RAW - if your version of Ps has it. It can handle jpeg as well as RAW files, if her camera exports only in jpeg format. That's really the best to start working on a photo with. Then open with Ps to adjust curves/hue-saturation, etc. I've found. Not a law, and I promise not to call the Photoshop Police if she doesn't like doing it that way.
