Most of it has already been said but I wanted to echo Rovert's comment - STTC is not viable early game against experienced players but it is still a great option for later in the game when you know you won't be able to hold certain planets. Think of it as a late game bonus to your economy. You can capture new planets and move on elsewhere and then strip the planet as enemies waste their time moving towards it to try and recapture it - just be mindful of how long it takes to strip it s

You did fine. You were a little careless with your two colonizers early game though - lost both. For the neutral gas giant - wait till you have ~200 AM then jump - at full health you can survive long enough to take over all three extractors as long as you keep moving while the cooldown is in effect. I've only been on for a few games in the past couple weeks. New competitive maps seem well received. VR still banned by some hosts. ICO still fairly terrible (MDs, DCs, game lobbies unstable and crashing/closing at random, etc.)

Hey look - it's Seleuceia upthread from 2010 - he looks...more terrestrial and less astral. I want to test out new Deliverance Engine but it still feels like a rarity to ever get one - maybe have to wait for a lucky eco slot/nice planet positioning type game - or play around with it vs AI.

I don't see anything on the list that is intentional trolling - but at the end of the day, it's still just one guy's list based on his experiences of playing with people. Personally I'd list it slightly differently in a few cases but not that many - and again, that would only be based on my limited experience of what I've seen. I've seen that before with the name across the screen and audio garbles. Not sure what causes it - there is Steam voice chat available so I assumed in the past it was related to that. I haven't used Steam voice in a long time but I'm pretty sure you have to accept an invitation to be able to receive voice.

I haven't been getting the usual MDs - it's just being kicked out of the game to the Optons screen with it saying Disconnected from ICO. It records in stats as a game played and the replay still functions. Others also disconnect in the game. It's like ICO hiccups and boots random people.

I had 2 games in a row where the game crashed and I got kicked to a screen saying Disconnected from ICO - an options screen. One was a MP game and the other was a 1v1 SP played on ICO. I have both replays functional - no MD autosave file or crash to desktop - just booted out of the game to the disconnected/options screen. Has happened to multiple people as well. Other than the replay, what file would be helpful? There's a log file in the Debug folder but it says last modified in August wi
