TO think of the way Animals behave in how we might design our games is so very ALIFE I like it.
KellenDunk
SO basically the idea is to say something SOOOOo Horrendous that nobody can think of something to say after your post.
THREAD NECRO! I decided the first thing I'm going to do will be very simple. A lottery, just to see if I can do it- then I will move on to the slime game.
Try double edged ... it has only one blade. I do like the sword, but we are talking about this. ... most searches take "double blade" and redirect to "double edge" so its a common mistake. First time I saw/heard of such a thing was in the first Neverwinter Nights. http://cn1.kaboodle.com/hi/img/2/0/0/75/b/AAAAAkJNmWUAAAAAAHW8lg.jpg
You know I HAD that tho
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gladius A double bladed sword. Also quite pointy.. Good for several types of attacking.
I"m pretty sure elementapedia was just a word Brad used to describe the thing in his post.
The only word we've been given is that they want what they are calling continuous turns. And you can slow it down to the point that it's exactly like any other turn based.
It's supposed to be some kind of mongrel but you CAN slow it down to turn based control
You guy also missed that they aren't implementing said bots and that this thread is 5months old
banned for being anti-laziness
I understood what it would contain considering previous dev journals
Nice effort there!

I guessing hes asking if its ok to have it on all of his PC's
It also says that you can install it on a third machine when changing your primary machine. Just uninstall it from one of your two machines when you want to test it on another...
Quoting Wintersong, reply 32If you are going to talk about card design, please avoid MtG. L5R owns (I miss being able to play or collect my Battle Maidens ). Also, the ones I saw in that pic for the magic screen were nice (for starters?) so I hope for some really flavored cards for the different things. It would be sweet!!! Never heard of this L5R, what is it? What's wrong with the style of cards from Magic:TG? <br
As for the plot, I'm definitely in favor of playing a nation over an individual but I think that's not the way the game is headed.
The nation is existentially tied to the individual
I believe in the ressurection, although in my version he was simply mistaken for dead and recovered....
Am I just ignorant, or do the 'Segways' under the swarm of cops look like some combat and/or knockoff version? I don't recall having seen the semi-squatting posture before, and it kinda looks like the riders' shins are bearing weight or maybe a secondary guidance input. The latter seems more plausible given the rifles...
They are a bit different...
thanks for the info.. it should help devs figure out what is wrong....
I'm thinking 3, because I doubt I would enjoy setting up the guards, but 2 could be fun anywyay.. We were talking in IRC one day about building cities in such a way that the walls of the city will guard much of the length of the roads... It was pretty good conversation.
To be clear, is essense like mana? so to build a new city is almost the equivalent of casting a major spell? Might it be a good strategy to attack some-one's caster right after they build a new city?
Essence is like Mana except you can't gain it back... You gain some by leveling, but cannot regain spent essence. YOu gain a certain number per level up. So your total mana will be something like X*level .
I never thought someone would find a replacement for the bear cavalry but here it is! THe segway cavalry...
