totally hope this works. sick of clicking pentinance 10 times in a row only to find out my oak just stands there playing with his own @#$%.
I think it's a bit nieve to think that the statistics represented on the pantheon scoreboard are at all representative of actual DG balance.
agreed. the only people you should turn to for advice about balance changes in the player base is the highest rated players. listening to players who dont know what they are doing causes: the game becomes too easy the game therefore becomes boring good players leave, because there is no chall
we (Clan Tyranny) can play with them and they work fine.
clans already? :O
at the moment proxys are located in Australia, but arent used as of yet. read the first few posts here: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/353302
i would prefer to see an hp nerf than a damage nerf
agreed. or a cap for the amount of towers u can have at once should be implemented, or increase the cooldown so they cant make so many so fast.
good to know, thanks :D
Personally, I’m almost inclined to just have all games be proxied. The big fear we had was that it would add too much lag. But we’re not seeing that in practice. A number of people can hopefully attest that it has totally turned things around for them. But it works best when everyone uses it. The downside (for Stardock) is that obviously we have to pay for a bunch of bandwidth around the world.
in australia we have had people connected to the proxies who
i would also like to add some: there is no hiding places in demigod, if you are on low health, fog of war cant be used as an advantage to escape, or turn the tides of battle so you can win. the only time i have an "omg that was lucky" moment is when i teleport away. you can stack items, imo it is abit silly, especially when your opponent gets health items and can survive a 3v1 situation at low levels. lack of skill required when using spells, the only spells i like in
Bottlenecking Maps - Please Stop
agreed. it is annoying when you spend the last 20 mins of the game just pushing back and forth, when you know your team is clearly going to win/lose. IT GETS BORING.
I'm pretty sure surge of faith only boosts allies movement and attack speed. That would explain why it didn't show up in your debuff list. Are you sure you didn't have boots of speed because because that would make it 5.4+10%(0.54) = 5.94 5.94 - 56% {30+10+16} (3.3264) = 2.6136
100% sure i didnt use any movement speed items. no boots of speed or journeymans either, and no swift anklet.
actually there is a slow cap.
From feedback, it had become apparent that slows were negatively impacting gameplay past the point of fun. To fix this issue there is now a slow cap that prevents a Demigods movement by being decreased more than 33%. Thank you all for your input on this issue!
quoted by frogboy himself here: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/345442/page/2
There is NO 30% max slow "cap"
thankyou for clarification, i read somewhere in these forums that there was a slow cap. also WTB nerf now :P
ok so i heard that there is a cap for slowing effects, i am not sure but i think it is up to 30%. here is a picture of me as rook(dead). we versed regulus and oak, i had no boots of speed: as you can see, i have shrapnel mines, pentinence and maim all in effect on me here are the calculations: <
Because this guy should be ashamed of himself for thinking I didn't actually understand this.
fine. i was just trying to be helpful.
routers have nothing to do with it
this made me ROFL! AHAHAHA
i got that error too :P
Anything above that becomes impossible, as 6 connections seems to really slow things down. I'm guessing this might be the 'critical mass' point, so to speak.
this actually happens to me now ZZZ, as soon as the 5th player joins BOOM my ms to every other player goes up to 1500ms you should also try configuring QoS on your router. unfortunately mine doesnt support QoS :(, but yours does :) more info on it here: <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quality_
yea probably :(
ok so i just joined a custom game with some other aussies and this is what happened: 1. i connected into the lobby fine(100ms to others) 2. about 4 other people were in the lobby, it was still fine 3. 5 fifth person comes into the lobby...BAM EVERYONES PING GOES UP TO 1600MS 4. i leave the game and reconnect with 5 other people in the lobby (mind you, the person that made everyones ping to me go up, had left when i reconnected) 5. everyones ping is stil
I dont understand this.

If you find someone in game behaving utterly horrible, feel free to take a screenshot and post it here.
shock0311 did something horrible. putting a picture of the CEO in the HALL OF SHAME thread. :(
PCs have always been this way. Enjoy your stay?
i think you guys missed the point. the PC part is fine for most users, its configuring the router that people shouldnt have to do.
And you are wrong if you think you never have to change your router. Try Halo wars on an older Dlink router sometime. I still can't get it to work.
i have a dlink router, which i had to configure for several games. the only time i had to configure it was when i wanted to host, not if i just wanted to play it.
This is (mostly) due to idiots (sorry)
its not their fault, y should they have to configure things just to play the game? i know on my ps3, xbox, DS i dont have to do that.
firefox ftw.
