You are greatly underrating the usefulness of monuments. You should be building them in every single city without fail.
I build them all the time and they are very useful. The problem I have is the AI likes to build them in cities that don't even have workshops yet. In fact they almost never build bell towers or workshops. They spend so much time building stuff like monuments, studies in Fortresses, or units in Towns, that they
The guidelines are just that, guidelines. They are plans that you deviate from as necessary and try to get back to. Teaching an AI when deviating is necessary is pretty hard.
Oh I understand that but even even increasing the weight on these items would really help. The guidelines I give above are very general and basically always the best thing to do. I don't expect the AI to be perfect and never make mistakes but ri
I have been playing a few games and some things pop up in regards to the AI. The AI is indeed very sophisticated but rarely puts up a challenge, because it does some very dumb things. Just played a Large map and ended up facing Roseln, who did terrible. They built stupid units like widows and all their champions had tons of injuries. They also failed to kill the Darkling lairs all around them. After examining the situation I think I know the root of their problem. The AI is just horrible inef
I'm not that old so if you exclude Math Blaster, then Warcraft II. [e digicons][/e]
There will be a third game in the Elemental world but that won't be related to Fallen Enchantress any more than Fallen Enchantress was related to War of Magic.
[e digicons]X|[/e] What does that mean?????????? That could mean anything from a RPG, to a reboot, to a stand-alone expansion!
Today I added art definition for every faith... That had to be the most boring thing I've done in a while. Hopefully (Though I'm sure of the contrary) I haven't missed any.
lol I know how you feel...
As I said in another thread... I think a cool solution would be that instead of getting population from kills/razes they get a unique resource called say Souls or Corpses. They then use this resource to build their special improvements like Mausoleums. There could also be another unique improvement for them called a Slaughter House that uses their special resource and just g
Updated to v2b. Please remove all old Gfx before upgrading. -Makes Wraith leather a little lighter, although I'm not sure you will notice the difference. -Added unique Tarth Chainmail. -A bunch of small touch ups and bug fixes. -Added roman style crests to Mancer leather helms as a experiment. I wish I could make the crest bigger, then
I played a lot of LoM back in the day. This sounds like a interesting project. I would be very interested in in learning a bit more about how you plan going about making your conversion.
Oops. I meant to fix a small bug where I forgot to disable sovereign customization on some items and ended up uploading the wrong file. My bad, lol. It's fixed now.
Updated to v3g. Adds Compatibility with my Armor Visuals Mod.
Updated to v2d. Adds Compatibility with my Armor Visuals Mod.
This is a redo of my original Armor Visuals mod for FE. My old mod was a victim of being too successful as most the changes where implemented into LH. However not everything was I decided to do some work and make a LH version. Download: Here *Should be compatible with my other mods, but only the latest versions. First of all in this mod I have focused on giving races unique looks that suit
Updated to v2c. Just some small bug fixes and compatibility with 1.4.
I believe the Morrigans' Call spell (+1 growth per death shard) is available from the start if you pick Death magic (based on watching a let's play). Does the outpost upgrade that provides the +1growth to the attached city work for Undead factions?
Yes but these are things other factions can do as well. The life versions of the Call spell is actually better I believe. As others have said you have to get lucky a
Yes this can be done. It's set in the relevant improvements by unit class. Not sure why they would use Wraith units....
I think a cool solution would be that instead of getting population from kills/razes they get a unique resource called say Souls or Corpses. They then use this resource to build their special improvements like Mausoleums. There could also be another unique improvement for them called a Slaughter House that uses their special resource and just grants straight up growth. That way they would still be unique but wouldn't need none stop aggression. Of course the problem with making any
Yes, it's reasonable that eventually you'd run out of resources in certain areas. It may even be reasonable that you could eventually deplete a star system of its economically viable resources. However, on the time-scale of GCII, and given its production levels, it is unreasonable that you could deplete planets and asteroid belts in a time frame which can impact the game, unless GCIII turns represent years and models actual mines rather
Updated to v3F! Yes I'm still alive. I just haven't had time to work on anything since school started. I have a thesis in Economics to write, but now it's reading break. [e digicons];)[/e] Anyway this update just fixes a few bugs the community has reported, including militia and a bug with custom Hunduran faction units. [quo
Mausoleums also seem really empty. They need more decoration around the building itself. Less then half the tile is used for anything. Throw in some graves or something. The Undead faction ability is just a tweaked version of Slave Lords, and that ability was always really hard to use. That's why they removed the growth penalty from it. In fact Undead really needs it's own icon. Right now it uses the Slave Lord one.
Oops.
This is the first DLC I purchased. Pretty top quality stuff I must say. I like the ghost females and the undead horses, they make it a real faction. The Grave system is cool as well. Now we need a new kingdom faction...
I could see the in space resources like asteroids depleting over time. Of course then new ones would have to pop up as well... Maybe you would need to get better and better mining tech to unlock more asteroids when your old ones deplete. I really like this idea because it makes maps more fluid and alive. So say your asteroid mine runs out so you research the next level only to find that the nearest one is just on the other side of a border. Thus you have to start a culture or physical
I imagine this is because the AI would really suck at using them because of the unique way they get population.
Nice to see carriers but I have to wonder about what they will do...
