For some reason neither mine nor any one elses windowblinds skins are displaying the ShellStyleLarge(whetever).bmp at all. The Control Panel background is showing properly. If I remove the skin's defined background from the skin, it displays the Windows default bitmaps as nice as you please. This is driving me nuts. I have used WindowBlinds for years (including many alpha's beta's etc.) and it never hosed my system. If any version gave me trouble at all, I simply rolled back. I played with DX, it did everything they said it would. Then I found Litestep and DX was gone forever, mostly due to overhead issues. StyleXP does none of the things DX does, and its disingenuous to suggest it does. If you play with alpha's and betas expect problems, if you stick with release versions, your alright. Lites

I personnally don't understand the Litestep dig. With ShellOn2 it is icredibly easy to get in and out of Litestep. I also have heard good things about the Litestep Installer tho I have never tried it myself. </A
