I got started theming Litestep by porting NextStart themes. Took the pressure off on the graphics side until I was familiar with the nuts 'n bolts. And the graphics program doesn't have to be fancy. For me, anyway, I get upset for a few reasons: 1. Its the same senseless argument all the time, presented like the poster is the first person to come up with it. 2. The "exploitation" of the skinners didn't seem to bother them before they hit the cap. Its not like the cap is a state secret. 3. Ouch, why would anyone go back to WIN98? I'm running it and I loathe it. I have XP Pro but I haven't gotten around to installing it yet, had some memory issues when I trised the first time and it trashed my HD. Its on my son's computer and it just seems so stable. Not a blue screen or GPF yet.

Taoy For God's sake don't reinstall Windows. Try this (this assumes you've installed Windows in the default folder, if not change the path accordingly): 1. Reboot into DOS mode and type "edit c:\windows\system.ini" {without the quotes). 2. Find the line in the [boot] section that says shell=c:\path\to\whatever.exe 3.
