Note to consider, there is a favor item called Heaven's Wrath which has the same effect as Hand of God. Its damage is rather weak though.
Sooner or later, there will be a nice division between rankings. Imagine 3 months from now, when we have *real* pro's (happy now, Stilbine? ), and a new player comes in, joins a match, and gets demolished by all the big guys. That would hardly be fair.
You got the wrong guy >.> Nosferat1 was the one talking about what makes a 'pro.'
That's not hacking, its just equipment. Regen-stacking is a well known strategy, and what with the AI's large amount of funds, its even easier for them. That's how they make AI harder. They arent smarter, they just have more money, favor, and experience. However, I've yet to be defeated by nightmare AI on anything less than 3v1, and I'm just an average player. I don't care how they make them tougher, because A: They're STILL pushovers, and B: I don't play AIs for fun.
I love the idea.
Also you wouldn't want to carry it around, because then people would just be able to guess where you are based on how their fog moves. It'd have to be something that lingers in an area.
True, BUT the point is that even if they can deduced where you are, they cant see you, and therefore cannot target you. *coughsnipecough* My question is, should either the consumable or the favor
Alright, so initially, he's reading a lot like the Unclean Beast, in terms of stats. A melee brawler focused on damage and high regen rates, but not too tough. That's a problem, because we don't need another UB. However, I do really like some of the ideas you've proposed under abilities. I vaguely support the Bond ability, because it has high utility, but it would have to be playtested for balance and exploits. I like abilities with a bit more implication than 'Does X damage to target
Cant say the name of a lobby really has any bearing on its game other than, to a degree, what region the players are from. Even games specifying 'Noobs only', or vice versa, dont really guarentee anything. Good players join, bad players join, you never really know which team will win. One practice that does annoy me is stacking. One team always fills up before the other (Usually light.) It's not really a problem, but it just annoys me and I think people tend to get discouraged
Yeah man, TB is really severely lacking in AoE options. Oh wait ... Notice what i wrote "this would make it somewhat more viable for creep farming from RANGE". Since he is extremely squishy, and all his other aoes in fire mode are centered around him, he need to get in close and personal to use them. Fireball is is only ranged dmg spell in fire mode. Also its called Fire BALL not BOLT!
Alright,
Yeah man, TB is really severely lacking in AoE options. Oh wait ...
'nuff said.
I don't really think this thread is about TB's fireball at all... But about the whole homing-fireball thing, does it matter? Its so slow, if you're at the HP crystal, you're safe anyway.
Better AI, and you don't have to heal on the go anymore. Ooooh yeah.
Yes, that bug has been annoying me for a long while as Sedna. Have to try this confirmed click thing.
I agree, an AI player, no matter what difficulty, is a death sentence to it's team, and so of course people quit if they feel they dont have a chance at winning, or if they care about their record. However in responce to your A, B, C representations, I have to point out that A: Whether you like it or not, it IS our fault that this problem occurs. We make the choice. B: He has stated the problem (And drawn your attention to it) and therefore is not ignorant of it. C: Well... Yeah, you'
Fix, he means buying the Priest idol, using it to get two Priests, then selling it and buying the High Priest idol, so now the players has two Priests and two High Priests following them around. Get the other two, player has eight healer minions. Got it?
I agree, this is an exploit and should be fixed. However, it's not as effective as you make it out to be. First of all, the healer minions are the most expensive. You can only buy the first teir at the start, and if the other team gets the advantage, then by the time you get a pair of each teir, it won't help you. They'll have much more money than your team does, and if they still lose, that's their mistake. Second, this still works on the other two generals as well, not just
It seems I can't get more than 1850 favor. THis is very frustrating, because I've been saving up for the Cloak of Night at 2000 =/
A tooltip in the loading screen says Inner Grace allows allies to use their abilities more often. Inner grace increases movement speed and health regen, Magnificent Presence is the one that reduces cooldowns. Additionally, Sedna's Heal will refuse to activate if she isn't moving. This happens roughly half the time Heal is activated when stopped.
@ stilbine ok well this is in theory (i dont know how stacking of speed works or their caps so this is just a thought): say you are the rook with 5.4 movement speed and you are vsing reg with 6 movement speed and as rook you spend 7750 gold to get journeymans and boots of speed(sum of 25%) (5.4*0.25) + 5.4 = 6.75 then you get slowed by regulus -30% with mines 6.75 - (6.75*0.3) = 4.725 speed the
Obviously, the main thing to remember is that the demigod is only as good as the player. This is as much a part of balance as statistics are. When you have Erebus on your team, it's a gamble. You will either get one of those indestructible champions, or the idiot who feeds the other team. The same is true of the Queen of Thorns, who I note you have no problem with. I agree that Erebus is overpowered, but not for the same reasons. He does have a counter, namely Teamwork. Not ev
Seventh, all people who have bought Demigod at retail or direct up May 10th (and didn't return the game obviously) will be getting a coupon that will let them purchase a second copy of Demigod for 50% off for a limited time as a way for us to show appreciation for this community that has put their faith and trust in us. There's no 'eventually' in there. I presume he meant 'direct up to May 10th,' which would mean we'll probably get it tomorrow, probably by

He's definitely not what he used to be. With Hammer Slam and Boulder Roll both nerfed to be more or less useless, all hes got is towers. Which are damn good, don't get me wrong, but its all hes got. Its very hard to land a Hammer Slam early to mid game because Boulder Roll I's stun doesnt even last as long as the casting time of HS, assuming its not interrupted. Since the damage was reduced, even if you do land it, then enemy will just run away and heal up. That said,
Alright, but showcasing the settings kinda goes out the window with YouTube. I play on max settings in 1600X1200, so I know what you mean, but its really lost in that video's resolution
