I would really love to see something like this. Tasking out factories to a specific army would be amazing. When you have factories spread across the map, the auto-reinforce feature is unusable. Factories will build units with no bearing on where it will be sending them to. I brought this up ages ago but didn't get any traction on the idea.

I'm down for that as well, sign me up!
Does anyone know of any plans to add air transports? I would love to have that option for the game. The armies feel very immobile at the moment, and having transports to help with reinforcements would be amazing...
I'd like to know this as well, I just upgrade them both equally when I play. I'd be cool to have some hard numbers on how much those upgrades increase your stats. Or maybe a percentage amount.
I was SO confused, thought I had been missing out on this whole other portion of the game, then I realized, you were talking about GalCiv... LOL [e digicons]:D[/e]
Maybe no one has any thoughts, but maybe I could get some help with strategies? I really don't know how I'm supposed to be playing larger maps. Thanks :)
I'm having trouble playing on large maps. How do you all manage, when you have an army across the map, miles away from your factories? I would love to have some air transports to quickly carry reinforcements to them... Am i supposed to be building constant factories right behind my advancing armies? Or should I just have a constant stream of units crawling across the map? The latter strategy always fills up my logistics points. Also, getting a dre
What does Frogboy or Island Dog think about it? Any plans on tweaking or adjust this?
I'm not knowledgeable enough to tell you what could cause that, haven't seen it on my setup yet. But yeah, with freesync, it runs super smooth. Some of their most recent updates really helped with the UHD performance.
Reinforcement rally point... that would solve everything I think. Good idea!
I have a Fury X. Running in 4k recently became an issue for me. When starting the game, it would come up, then flash to black, then back to the game. Each flash would last from 2 to 4 seconds. The fix, workaround I found was to alt+tab out then back into the game, this fixes it. Otherwise, 4k runs amazingly. :)
Are there any plans for changing the reinforcement feature? Right now, the reinforcements come from any available factory, no matter how far away it may be. It would be amazing to have more control over this. Best idea I could come up with, is to have reinforcements ONLY come from factories that have the rally point set to that specific army. Having to manually setup build queues on the closest factories, then again, have to manually add those units to the army you wish,
You can set rally points, just not to a specific army. Seems to be run behind the scenes.
Reinforcements seem to come from any available factory. If you have factories on repeat or the queue is already full, reinforcements come from the other available factories. I've been experimenting with building factories closer to the front lines and destroying the ones back in my base, so the units don't have as far to stream. I would be cool if we could set a factory rally point to a specific army. Any requested reinforcements only come from that factory
Yeah, maybe right. At least the feature is there, and will probably be improved upon eventually.
No love for this question?? :)
I'm curious about your plans for the reinforcement system. Right now, the reinforcements come from any available factory, no matter the location. This can get awkward pretty quickly. What do you think about reinforcements coming only from factories that have waypoints set to that particular army?
What about having the reinforcements ONLY come from factories that have the rally point set to that particular army or dreadnought. Arm 1 requests reinforcements, factory 1 and 2 have the rally point set to Army 1. Reinforcements come from factory 1 and 2 only. Does anyone else think that might work ok? It would give us precise control over where our units come from.
After creating an army, you can select it and seem to build more units from there. Instead of clicking on an actual factory. The units seem to be built from just any random factory on the map, then they make the journey across the map, sometimes getting picked off before arriving at destination army. Anyone know how this works? I feel like i'm missing something important! lol Loving the game, and thank you! &n
Does anyone have news on when/if the beta might be dropping today? Looking forward to the other faction! :)
Good road map, cool of you to release it for us. I wish the second race wasn't so far from release, but it's understandable.
