Yeah I know. This would just be one setting. There would be this setting on everything from grunts to gold.

I clicked button twice by accident. Sorry peoples
We all have heard the arguement that HP items are better than damage and I completely agree. Damage needs to be more effective in a 1 on 1 situation than HP is. HP is for a team game while damage is for a 1 on 1 battle. How often do you play 1 on 1? Not very often I'm guessing so in other words Damage needs to win against HP to be even in a team game. To help clarify... UB vs UB One with health stacking and one with damage stacking but same gold. The damage stacker should win.
I always found Structal Transfer rather handy actually And the Warpstone is overpriced for the tiny distance you get with it. Maybe 4500 yeh Every time I see an enemy rook use transfer I know we're going to win, in all honesty. Even when we fought Nazhda4ka I knew it was going to be a victory for us when I him drain the first time.
Not always depends how far you go into it. Now a leve
Hey Frogboy! Isn't Demigod absolutely addicting? HP stacking is definitely better (unless facing minion builds or Rook's towers). If one team stacks health, and the other does not, it's GG. The only exception I'd make is buying scalemail. It's cheap for what it offers.
Somebody agrees with me. Scalemail is amazing early game. It can be 20% damage if it's your first armor item. Which really helps considering it
Orb of defiance is a useful item when used correctly. Me myself use it only as rook as a last item in a long game. When you have 8 towers up that 5 seconds is enough to drive an enemy demigod away so you can use a potion and teleport away. Plus any extra health and armor is good at that point. While it may not be proportianally as good as something like nimoths chestplate it is good in it's own way. I think that some items need their special ability thats added buffed not lowering the price.
I like the mechanics, it's pretty unique. The only problem I can see is that he is thematically quite similar to Oak. If he were to summon elementals or undead or something slightly different maybe? Maybe change Agile to Air, Strong to Earth, Angry to Fire, Stubborn to ice, Haunting to Electric, and Greedy to Aether? Just a thought.
I love it! He could have elemental balls floating around him in bound form and in roam he
I don't think this guy would have a overly troubling time against TB or other aoe characters while in Roam mode because those stubborn spirits could provide the push needed. But the problem would be anticipating wether or not you'll need Roam or not so i'd suggest giving him a level 4 ability that allows him to respec his points completely resetting his abilities. Bind mode seems a little weak at the moment. (things would have to be percentage based in other words) I'd suggest somet
Currently, in my opinion, settings on High just aren't that fun. They prefer turtling too much while games on medium become kill the enemy DG as fast as possible. I'm suggesting one inbetween those 2. Maybe changing high to extreme and having the new high be between medium and what is the current high. I know that was confusing so I'll explain a little more below Example would be tower strength: Currently we have the options High (8400 health or in that area) (
Foul grasp is more useful as a stun than a damage IMHO. your basic ub Melee will deal more damage than it. I find it most useful/devastating when the enemy tries to flee a gang or behind a tower. UB runs from my TB on almost every game uless he's got help on the way.
I mean coupled with spit and ooze. Spit has about 100 dps and ooze has maybe 80 at this point plus foul grasps 100 dps so 2 second
Yeah I completely agre aalex they probally won't impliment it. It would be very nice so that you could maybe swap players around on teams so it gives more fairness of teams.
I have to say that I would rather have balanced Demigods than balanced items. Because everyone can use each item while not everyone has an attack as powerful as foul grasp at level 5.
263 bottles of beer on the wall. 263 bottles of beeeer.
I love this idea. It would make the game much for fun for players like me who play maybe 3 or 4 games a week. Instead of having to play for hours a day to keep up with competition. Plus i think it would make some of those stompers lose their will to play a non-competitive game and old fans to come back online.
Thanks for adding my idea and accepting criticism so well. How about an item that is purely for line of sight. Maybe something that doubles your line of sight. This would be a tactical advantage and maybe if it is too strong you could just put a slight debuff on it.
Yeah scales of fortune is a really weak one up there. That 20% xp could change the game while 1k gold isn't. Maybe take away the xp debuff and make it +8 gold a minion. This would allow maybe 4 or 5k extra per game which makes up for the disadvantage you would have for not having an overly useful favor item in the begining. How about a health item with a 15% health increase with a +20 damage stacked on it.
Nice catch! And no offense strengths is spelled that way. Not stenghts
Like the changes keep making them :)
Very very very good ideas. Steel Skin I agree is too strong. How about a 10% chance to negate all damage done by that attack. This would be a great tanking item which we are greatly lacking.
I've seen that build played and found it was more effective at not being killed then it was at camping areas and holding a position. I typically see it played with a level 1 bat swarm and it was just about impossible to kill. Problem is I'm not sure how many games you are going to win with this startegy or how much fun you are going to have along the way.
I win about 1 in 2 games on exile
Yeah it's a real working mod. Made it a seperate map as Xaviors said. It's now called Cataract Enhanced for now, updated first post with instructions. Which lanes would they take Neilo? Any suggested places for the portals? Everything can be moved. I thought about crossing them, but I wouldn't be able to make it much different from how they were originally, I was just trying to go for balance.
Thank you very much for
Why not just make it a new map so it doesn't interfere with the currenct map.
Actually there is a permanant mist build that is almost exactly what you say. It's minion focused and mist focused except you try and get mist up to a 5 minute+ sustainability. In which you can sit there at a location killing everything that goes through you and your minions hold the line. Very effective on places like exile where you can camp.
Thought this was a stragedy game...my bad.
Is it strategy that there is no sacrifice to doing this tactic. Is it strategy that there is no way to stop it except pop a sigil of vitality and if it's a 2 on 1 no extra 3k (if you have that much health) is going to help you regardless of both of them die or not now you are down 500 gold and they are up whatever they got for killing you. Plus using a potion any one of the demigods th
You are welcome i'm just hoping that someone else posts on this.
