Another idea i just had... Make the flags more random. Interoduce new flag types. Let's make an example for Cataract. The portal flags would stay, so would the Fortitude flag. The side flags would be random but the same for both teams (so 2 random picks here). The 3 center flags would be completly random. I think this could bring some variation of play for the maps, as you'd have to adjust your strategy depending on the flags there are.

Alot of ideas can be found in my balance for 1.2 thread ( http://forums.demigodthegame.com/354365 ) Best Items Favor: Blood of the Fallen ( my suggestion: 800->700h health ) <span style="color: #000000;
Boulder has a 0.4 cast, it's very hard to interupt. Human reaction time is like 0.2-0.25... it's almost impossible. Heal is also NOT so easy to interupt. The others can be done.
Civ4 Complete is on Impulse... sweet!
Banded Helm, Vlemish Faceguard work on on on maps without MPS flag. Plate Visor, Plenor Battlecrown work on on maps with a +15 MPS flag. These 4 are ok. The higher mana items are THE problem. A mana item needs to be really good, because it takes away a slot for health/damage.
did i already say the forum lags like hell...
My suggestion for Rook (which may have been mentioned already): Increase initial armor from 240 -> 500. IMO, he should have the highest initial armor rating of all the DG's. Oak's is 400 and UB has 475. Along with his high initial HP (nearly 2000), this would help his survivability on the early levels a little - and enhance his tower-destruction abilities, which are thematically important. Also: I like the idea of Sedna's Yeti's having a slight % chance to
Staff of Renewal is 20%, so this only gets it closer to that favor.
--- [Blood Soaked Wand] 2
My suggestions for yetis are... AoE attack (chance) high movement speed (should lessen the pathing problems Wild Swings does 20% 2x crit damage (it's Level 15, so it should be good) I also suggest her Heal IV does 400 instead of 200 damage Either way she has the opportunity to get AoE, which is what she doesnt have, if she sacrifies the skill points for that. What the yetis dont need is healing. Sedna has all healing they'll
Updated. As you can see here , GPG does look at THIS THREAD and they do take stuff from here, some of it will be in 1.19. So bring on some new (and reasonable) suggestions, and they might find their way into 1.20 if we are lucky (or bribe the right people.) Important: QoT, Rook and TB need some love. Erebus might need a slight nerv, he still is almost untouchable. Items: I'll add them, if they aren't completly off
This is not such an easy fix. I suppose this has to do with the deactivated favor items aswell. To make newly cast minions get full health the sigil and other +minion items would need to be checked, so they all have a unique buff ID (think this got mentioned already) so they dont REPLACE another buff from another item. After that, basicly you just have to set AdjustHealth = true (this is wrong on Sigil I think, it has AdjustEnergy = false, which is doubly-wrong), and it should work. However t
No favor reset, yey. Lucky me. I'd have to play more and that would ruin my grades... [e digicons];P[/e]
Inner Beast 1 does so little. If you dump it, you can get Spit/Ooze a level earlier. I recommend this. I believe that vs a good team you can't afford to sacrifice health over speed. You can chase with speed, however this only lets you win vs players, you'd win against most likely anyway, because you are better and they don't know when to run. Good players won't engage you unless they think they can win, and they will have pots/sigil, if they need to run. So I don't know if this works at
Lemme get out the Voodoofrog...
Cosmoe is the best QoT player I've seen so far.
Mana/Health loss on item drop (http://forums.demigodthegame.com/360939)
I think I solved this. AdjustHealth and AdjustMana should work correctly Sigil works like it did before (same applies to mana: Inspirational Flame) Dropping items (they are Adjust=false) doesn't effect current Mana/Health
function MaxHealth( unit, buffName ) &n
A way to do this would be to alter the place where AbilityType = 'Instant' is handeled, and intercept where the hotkey use calls the skill and reapplay an self selected click there if ctrl was used, basicly using the same skill, so there's no overlay problems.
This is nice. Praise the mighty frog.
What would be really helpful is some sort of commenting on the code of the different lua and bp files, that says what does what. I've spent alot of time only trying to figure out how the mechanics work, and how buffs are applied, and so on. This would make it so much easier for others to get into modding. I'm quite sure alot of stuff is already known by other modders.
Quoting ZehDon, reply 13In the Armour VS HP debate, HP wins as it provides defense against all types of damage. It's a sure-fire solution. However, sometimes the solution is neither; I stack Mana when I play LE, for example, and chew through my opponents because I can just wear them down. Except Oak. Oak's a cockroach. Okay, ive heard that FB likes to play LE so what i would say is mana first then hp. Why? because of bite. bite do
VenomDagger_BL. Can't play then quits on us, leaving us with an AI Rook (which ofc becomes primary target of the enemy team). We still win the game! BL clan has alot of posers. They once tried to recruit me in a 2v2 Crucible probation game, where they used 2 Generals with Idol Resell Exloit, claiming it was legit. Hilarious. Avoid at all cost. http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/game/958568 <
One mistake I see so often in average level Cataract games is an enemy demigod running by one of your controlled flags or fighting 1v1 at a friendly flag. This is so dangerous, if they dont see the teleport coming in they are usually dead meat.
