@Frogboy: Very nice stuff. Also please keep an eye on http://forums.demigodthegame.com/359551/page/2/#replies . Sometimes we even find code locations, this should help GPG alot. I've been messing with lua a bit. The people at http://trac.dgmod.com:8080/ are doing an awesome job aswell. Check it out.

Yeah, I've been very successful with it too, so far.
What's with BotS vs BotF ? ... I just tried that, and the lane staying power with a general as back up is really enormous.
Usually the schedule is tight, and you dont have cash for things like Nature's Reckoning. You need to get things like Cur1, Priest, Tower Heal/Damage, Xp1... and ofc Unbreakable/Vlemish for the mana and pots, portals! I haven't tried BotS so far, maybe I should do that. I don't spit much in the beginning because Spit I sux damage wise, and you dont have the mana anyway. Spit II is extremly strong though, its 900 damage at level 4 every 7s, for only 30% more mana, compared to Spit I, w
I get ooze first to kill creep waves faster, but you'll need BotF and Banded so you have +12hps for compensation.
It's very simple: 20% dodge equals 125% hp and 125% hps on average. Level 6, Banded + Scalemail Health 2775 ( 3879.45 Modified Armored Health ) with 20% dogde. Health 4075 ( 6919.35 Modified Armored Health ) with botf and nimoth It's very obvious that health stacking at this point is still superior then 20% dodge. Level 11, Unbreakable, Namoth, Nimoth, Vlemisch Health 4950 ( 7563.6 Modified Armored Health ) with 20% dogde. Heal
I'm with pacov on this one. kokujin's build skips speed for more hp/armor and diseased claws/inner beast so you can get spit/ooze II at 4 and spit ooze III at 7, which are simply far superior to 3% speed/run and 5% slow. Speed doesn't matter, because a good player wont engage if he doesn't believe he can win, so he usually doesn't have to run or a team mate will assist him. And with a level more of ooze/spit more hp and armor, they will win in a 1v1 confrontation, which is wh
The problem with this is that modifiers such as 1% chance on hit to cast xxx are almost never worth it. So this item would only be bought for its second stat, let's say +armor.
BuffAffects.lua
#Calculates the buff from all the buffs of the same type the unit has. #weaponLabel and abilityName are passed in so we can have buffs that only affect certain weapons and certain ability categories. function BuffCalculate( unit, buffName, affectType, initialVal, initialBool, weaponLabel, abilityName ) ... end function Evasion( unit, buffName ) local val = BuffCalculate(unit, buffName,
Display avatars of allies and minions (allow spell casting by clicking on them) Make Ctrl+Spell (either by click or #1-4) use spell on self. Much less micro! What's also interesting. Today I used Grasp, got stunned, and after the stun it Grasped. Very strange behavior. I guess its because the move order got stun and not the Grasp itself, but I was really close to the emeny.
True, but if you get Cur1, and Vlemish, you'll easily be level 5-7 until you get any armor, which is a very long time. Scalemail brings you from 13% to 28%. That about 15% less damage from AA and towers, basicly any non-skill damage. I get it with every dg if I have the chance: meaning if I ever have to go back.
Cloak of the Night? (can the early mana advantage make up for BotF) Scalemail? (big fan of it, 600 arm for 400g)
GPG probably didn't/doesn't have a solution for this either, which is most likely the reason "wand of speed" and other instant abilities interupt walking. They chose this because "CanCastWhileMoving" wasn't working. AbilityTask.lua looks promising for a solution. I believe that's where it's handled.
I believe I have bad news for this build. It looks like Evasion is capped at 30%, which is really stupid tbh.

Sound looping issue ( http://forums.demigodthegame.com/356935 ). This happens alot. Very annoying. Move order is canceled when using effects ( http://forums.demigodthegame.com/356694 ). The move order is turned into an auto-attack order. Nice listing of auto-attack related bugs ( http://forums.demigodthegame.com/356419 )</

You get Scalemail in addition not instead of. 600 armor is huge vs any aa.
You can be the best PRO player, you'll still lose with a bad and/or feeding team. Hence all the premades. Killing the same DG over and over shouldnt be rewarded as much as it is now.
If it's hopeless and someone on my team just refuses to concede (they'll say stuff like ... "I just want to have fun" ... or they dont talk), I quit. No need wastinh time for a lost cause. However, I've also had similar matches that turned, and we won in the end, but it's really rare, like 1 in 100.
Nice post Epi thanks! I typically go with Plenor on Levi due to the higher mana pool and regen. Have you tried using that in lieu of vlemish? j
That would be counter productive as this build here resolves around Cape of Plentiful Mana , which boosts + MPS.
Nice guide. One thing though: you'll want to get Scalemail as early as possilble. It gives 600 armor for only 400g. You can always sell it later on. I'd get it before or right after Banded. I'm not a big fan of "Magificent Presence". 7% is almost nothing. It's like 0.5s on a 7s cooldown and 1s on a 14s cooldown. I usually prefer getting Inner Grace earlier. If teamed with a TB that has Staff of Renewal, it might be badass though, upto 37% reduced for the TB. And typo: "This wo
I'm sure your intentions are good, but this wont really help the noob players. To become better one simply needs experience, and you get that by PLAYING ALOT OF GAMES (and trying to learn from mistakes). Try to play in a team just a bit above your level, you will learn most from that. That dying is bad, everyone will realise quickly. What's way more important is: WHY DID MY DG DIE IN THIS SITUATION (replay will be in soon, let's hope). How do I prevent it in the future? Every game has
