I would prefer to use Impulse more than Steam, but reality would prefer I didn't yet.
Ture same here, but there is one thing I hope Impulse won't sink to steam level is the pushieness of sales. For those who use steam understands this. For those who don't I'll explain, everytime you log on to steam, there is a screen that pops up telling you about the latest games, not that isn't nice, but I only log on to steam to just play games, not buy and there isn't an option for
Is this a joke? Why the hell would you not buy a great game because you need to install Impulse? Impulse doesn't do anything invasive, what's your problem? If you want to deny yourself a great gaming experience because of some bizarre download manager phobia, feel free. Me, I like to enjoy myself and I think there are more important things in life to worry about.
I total
yey 16 researches for all civs! thanks!
Lol they probably end up being the same ones
Yay an update to Sins Diplomacy
Don't worry, about the UI sound you will eventurally get so annoyed at it you would want to turn it off If you want to hear it, i suggest you reinstall
Actually EA is kinda a cash cow, look at the series they over milked, no pun intended: Note: when I say cash cow, I mean "A series of games of more than 5 games based on the same theme or title name" C&C Sims (including Simcity (although Simcity is a great game)) Their sports series Need for speed Battlefield Jane Combat Simlulation (although they haven't release one since 2000) The lord of the Rings
Launch sins, go to single player, in the menu choose watch, and click the file you want to watch and then click watch
Actually that star is not Green. You must be color blind
yes much like your avatar slim it isn't green it is just a very light shade of red
Meh, I just got the C&C the first decade, and I haven't finishing playing thru it, and I bought this june. as for hearding things after it gets published in some magazine is so true, I remember the shock of hearing that dipolmacy will be the last expansion, I was stuned, I mean they put news here instead
Already got it
It sounds great for single-player, but personally I'd like MP to be more "fleet based" instead of "diplomacy based" so I may decline. But who knows.
I am betting you would buy it since, every one is going to get it, all of the mods are going merge onto it, all of the multi-people are going with dipolmacy, you are going to have no choice but to get dipolomacy
lol I just turns mine off
You might have a 4gb ram but the game will only use a max of 2gb since this game is for pcs which are running 32bits so there is pretty much the answer to your lag problem and secret you obviously haven't played sins for a very long time if you just relaize that all games will run slower and slower the longer a game takes right?
Lol same here
seriously instead of coming up ideas for expansions, why not just include all of these in the beginning. Sure it will cost more, but don't be like those cheap companies making spin-offs from spin-offs
I d0=on't remember if someone said this but I think they are going to release all of the sins in a box once all of the expansions are done...don't quote me though but that impiles you will have to buy the original game again
come on people only need federations becuase they can't defend themselves against someone else. now if everyone is in an alliance, what is the point of war?!
I believe there is a version of DS for the latest vinalla No garrentee that it works though
why on earth did they not code for at least two cores... that just seems... well.... dumb?! for want of a better word. but then im not a programmer and I realise it could also be hugely complicated, I have no clue. alass mines no i7, its a good old Q6600 at 3Ghz.
Maybe it has to do with your computer configuration, my laptop is only dual core, yet it ha
What mods are you applying? did the site where you downloaded the mod indicate it is for the latest version? Is it for entrenchment? Is it for dipolomacy? Given that it says it has to do with the exe also, my suggestion is to reinstall the game and then reinstall the mod.
haha! Thanks for the kind words Darkstar I am glad you enjoy the game. We do have other excitement in the works...there is never a dull momment at Ironclad
Does that mean Sins 2 is in the works? Seriouly I like this game too (maybe too much), this is the first game other than Simcity 3000 that I actually bought.
Quoting ice27828, reply 2It is a randomly generated. I wonder if they ever going to change the game, so that it will always stays to the same!! I've never had a skybox change when relaoding a game (not sense entrenchment anyways).
Ya me neither, I meant the random generation is at the beginning
(and if your not on vista or 7 get out of the dark ages?)
Not that I don't like your post, but I would beg to differ on this point only, XP is probably the best OS out there, least bug and uses a crap load less ram than vista or 7 and Mike, since the game is already in its last expansion pack, I don't see the point of your post. and the reason patches kills mods is because the coding difference in each of the version program read differently that is why
Although you can have one, you can mod each of your planet type to modify how many starbase per planet you can have.
Probably a minor bug in that they put a rand, instead of a srand.
It is a randomly generated. I wonder if they ever going to change the game, so that it will always stays to the same!!
