This patch might bring me back to Demigod. I like what you've done here
This conservatism has come from a lot of sources, including politicians willing to exploit the controversies for their own gains. The main source, however, are conservative parents and media watchdog groups, like the "abstainance only" types. They are the ones that make a big deal about sex in games, and the media in general.
I'm not saying that the USA is not conservative or that there are no conservative values in America. You totally passed over my point. The OP said
As an older gamer, I'd like to see my preferred form on entertainment, that is video games, have the freedom to touch on some of the more adult themes that are common place in the main stream movie industry. I'm not talking about porn games, though I don't have any problem with those either. Strickly pornograqphic titles, be they movies or video games, will almost alway be in the fringe market. I'm talking about, for instance, a video game with the same type of adult themes and content
If I wanted to spend the rest of my life printing and scanning documents with no time for family, hobbies, food; I would totally do this.
Is it me or is game still broken. . .
The game works great. Try some different tactics.
I can think of plenty games with full sex and nudet, but none are on the shelves.
Well, then the next question is: Are they any good? Are they just porn games (which don't even sell on Steam or Impulse or Direct2Drive)? Because if they are just porn games then your point is baseless. If they are not porn games can you give us some names since you can think of plenty?
Not sure what you're getting at unless by M and AO type content you're referring to sex and full nudity in the game. Because there are already plenty of M rated games on retail shelves. They are rated M for violence, blood, what have you. Can't think of one though that has sex and full nudity. So I can only assume that is what you're referring to. Dragon Age: Origins is awash in blood. From the title screens to characters literally being bathed in it. There's plenty of skin in that ga
I dont buy MP only games so if Demigod is just MP then I wont be buying it. Also is it as good and have a lot of stuff in SP as it does in MP if it has SP?
Yes, there is singleplayer in Demigod. Great way to learn the ins and outs of the different characters and items and maps. That said here are the differences between singleplayer and multiplayer. Gameplay is exactly the same. Here are the differences: In singleplayer yo
Hmm, Frogboy posted this at 4:09 and the screencap says 15 minutes. That puts it at 4:26. But here it is 5:25 and still no update. Another Stardock broken promise. I chalk it up to more corporate greed. And terrorists.
Useless stats were reset a couple of times or something like that. Play with noobs for a bit.
Apparently I've gotten an influx of karma recently and I would love to read what the comments are but I can only see 3 of them. 2 are old and 1 new. Says I have 26 but I only see the 3. Doesn't matter what website I go to to look at it. Also, I pretty much always browse the forums through the Impulse client and I can only see the 3 comments. Thought I had heard of a fix coming soon so I've been patient but it's been awhile now so was wondering if this was going to get fixed.
Sins doesn't have a campaign, unfortunately. Still a great game without one though.
You should still have access to the BIOS and the laptop should try to do 'something' even if the hard drive is out. My guess is a power-related issue. Have you contacted Dell support?
Yes. And Diplomacy will be the cherry on top.
No, you don't lose a thing. Entrenchment just adds onto the vanilla game.
Why do people play him so much? He's not that great. I've seen people choose him even though it's bloody obvious that the matchup is terrible, and his synergy is horrible with certain combinations. Anyone else agree?
Number of possibilities: He's relatively easy to learn and moderately easy to master. This is a plus for newer players who are wanting to get in and be competent for their team. He can get the 'killshot' many times because

Any gurus have suggestions? Sorry if that's Pyrating th' thread, Az...it's what I do best!
I'm not a guru but I'm going to be getting a wireless printer next as well. Mostly for my wife and it will be the 3-in-1 kind. I'm thinking this one: <a href="http://www.be
I've got to say that I agree with every single point. The UAC though, is making me pull my hair out. They should have done a whole lot more with the UAC. I hope to see "adjustments" in the future. The way it is now disappoints me.
I agree. I wish they would make it so that it 'remembered' your decisions on certain pop-up boxes that come up to ask for your permission. For example, I have Xfire installed and whenever it comes up a UAC box comes up that says 'Do you want t
Reason #11: Homegroups I upgraded my wife's laptop and my own laptop back in August to Windows 7 RTM and one of the best features for sharing stuff across our computers was this Homegroups thing. It's so easy a caveman could do it.
I think rivers should run OVER map tiles. Sort of like a pretty water rainbow arcing over the land. Just like they do in real life.
So thats why starcraft and wc3 use p2p as well? Oh wait, they don't, thats right.
Battle.net started out as pure p2p just like most other RTS games. And it was a mess to begin with. Then, later, they threw servers into the mix so it's sort of a hybrid p2p/server/client system as far as I can tell. Now, I guess Stardock or GPG could have gone to Blizzard and said 'Hey, you've had this system in place for 10 years. It's doing pretty good. Mind if we borrow it for our game
I don't understand anything. Where do you get the patch? How do I log on to play online?
Do you have Impulse installed? If so, you should start Impulse and Demigod will auto download the latest patch. If you've never used Impulse you'll need to register a new account and assign your Demigod registration number to your account. Then to play online, go to the Multiplayer section within Demigod itself and login using your new account.
