Advent New Capital Ship, Missionary of Unity When they first arrived, the Advents motto was, "Die". Now, it has become, "Convert or Die". This capital ship reflects that new stance on morality. Abilities Mobile Broadcast Center Works exactly like the TEC's new capital ships ability, Mobile Trade Center, it lets this capital ship become a broadcast center. Convert or Die A bombarding ability that does damage to a planets

i'd suggest targeting as far basck as possiblel in the enemy fleet, so that the CB itself is hitting as many as possible and hopefully you get several ships propogating malice, WICKED SICK.
amazing how peple should just have to learn to counter MB. i never, EVER hear that about another skill. really. how often do you sit there in anticapation waiting for the hands to reach out from the progen when a high level radiance is sitting next to it? "learn to counter it" Why the hell is this skill the only one that requires serious effort from those on the receiving end? one ship, one click. Boom. ur whole fleet can go bye bye. the only remotely comparable skill to this is
CB works great against comp. heres the thing A CB malice combo CURRENTLY requires a level 6 radiance AND a level 5 progen. this will allow you to kill 30 some targets maybe(assume you got a nice deal on the malice and some other ships were lined up in the shot. all of this requries of fairly well timing of 2 abilities with a very minimal grace period(none). all for a pay off of 30-some ships. and any enemy who sees this will A. spread out his ships B. order an interrupt skill when mal
Banned for banning while you could be playing sins
c'mon...radiation bomb only does what? few hundred hull points? :P
so malice/CB should've never been nerfed? i mean, C'mon, it can be interrupted, moved around, etc etc
don't think theyd be all that effective first mine does 765 damage, every mine after does 387, assuming one for one damage. anyone have the numbers on vasari SB's? and they have huge armor too. 150 mines would do 171648 damage IF YOU COULD MAKE THEM ALL HIT .
a possibility for a super capital ship could be a new capital that each race gets...uses 1 capital supply, 50 fleet supply like usual. has NO abilities, just meant to do damage, like a flying starbase, maybe only 2 banks top (plus it could mean we get to see more of the advent's psionic pew-pew. COOL!) just an off the top of my head suggestion.
anyone have any ideas what settings are best to change in user.settings to increase performance when lots of things are flying around?(CPU seems to be bottleneck here)
maybe somehow make the armor scale up as it builds?
well if TEC get 2 capships then Advent get halcyon with energy aura and progen with malice. FTW
hmmm. i thought nukes always just emitted EM Radiation in space(no air to explode). maybe the nuke was designed to punch a hole in the hull before detonating.
illums also benefit from +4% shield mitigation. another +6% if in their own culture. which advent are very good at spreading.
dammit...i was going to make a thread about how scouts were OP'ed and could massively screw your economy with their cheap BS spammable mine detecting ability and how they always haxxed ur massive 2000 supply fleet into chasing them when the system is being invaded by things...idk...a little more noticeable? way to ruin it for me.
Keep in mind that 4% raises your shield mitigation from 81% to 85%. This is effectively a 21% damage reduction under ideal conditions, since you're blocking what little damage does get through.
correct me if im wrong but if you're mitigating 85% of damage that should mean you're only taking 15% of the incoming damage...i think this is applied AFTER damage modifiers between weapons/armor types though. :P
1. Sins-duuuuh...... 2. Sins-duuuuh...... 3. Sins-duuuuh......
Anyway, if anybody should be crying foul on caps, it should be the Advent. Fully teched phase missles on 60 bombers takes out their cap ships in 1 run. Forget your shield regen, because it's useless. Don't believe me? I just proved it again last night.
i ever do wonder why there's a progenitor parked next to that capship factory that's building the type of capship you destroyed. advent capships are actually quite expendable so long as you get them leveled up.</p
in numbers fights, illums are probably going to win, cause their side beams come into play... also advent also have a high level range upgrade, 12% i believe
yes. $.10 USD for every KB transferred. affordable transfer limits packages starting at $10: $10-max 50kbs download 10 KBs upload $20-max 125KBs download 30 KBs upload $50-max 1MBs download 200 KBs upload
they could do a system where... 1. you can move an SB to another system using phase technology. However, 2. It takes a while to do and the orky is actually visible ( and vulnerable) on both ends. 3. it costs some money to use the ability and cost ( and time) are proportionall to upgrades(not necesarily linear scaling though. i'm thinking maybe 2 minutes or so scaling up to 3 or 4. takes a while but the Sb can still survive. 4. One of the conditions of the ability is that&n
well actually embargo does slow production i believe...maybe i'm wrong...but sova vs. marauder, marauder is actually more useful.
and why don't the bombers work? and your proposed solution isn't valid anyway. it royally screws over defending vasari's SB. assuming yours still doesn't get chewed in the time it is constructing & upgrading. the defender will have a lot more than just the SB if you commit that kind of offensive. he has a fleet and phase nodes remember? You need lots of bombers. and deploy some mines around where you will deploy your own SB. orky's are kinda slow to move and mine's only ta
There is a very simple and fast way to know whether or not your computer is infected. Simply reboot into "safe mode". Conficker C prevents this, so if you can do it, you're fine.
if that's true, it would explain why its worse on xp than vista. Vista is very touchy about its system files...like...none..other. my question is...with the incompatibilities between 32 and 64-bit, do 32-bit viruses affect 64-bit systems? and if so, then by what feat of software enginee
