Am I the only one that finds it fun to teleport back to base, just in time to introduce those cheeky Erebuses (Erebi?) to the business end of Rook's Hammer? [e digicons][/e] I've had this done to me, and found it quite easy to deal with, provided that you've got your wits about you. If the enemy Erebus in question is able to tank you, your towers, and the next wave of creeps without dying... Well, the fact is that you're probably screwed anyway.
demigod also has an item which makes you invulnerable for a couple of seconds! its not as good as in dota, because it will also freeze you so you cant do anything while being invulnerable... but on the other hand there are also a couple of demigod skills that can prevent things like this like stun, shields, silence, more stun
I'm confused. Are you saying this item is overpowered? Unless you have allies nearby to save you,
Humm... The issue here is that there's often a fine line between what one person calls "flair" and what another calls "foolish". Not to dismiss your ideas as the latter, but when I visualized your suggestions in my own mind, they struck me as belonging to a gameworld with a much more comical or quirky bent. (Although maybe that has more to do with the cutsey, chibi-esque images that are often innately conjured by my own mind) *Cough* ... Oh, and yes. I am aware that we
Kill Streak - Largest kill streak
Actually, unless they fixed this recently, Kill Streak is awarded to the player with the largest kill streak AT THE CONCLUSION OF THE MATCH. Meaning, if you managed to achieve Godlike status, but died just before the end of the match, someone with Smiter status or higher could nab the achievment right out from under you... I should probably retest that observation with the current build though. [e digicons]^_^'[/e]
ill like them more and spread word of the game?
This's potentially worth more to Stardock/GPG than buying an extra copy for kicks, anyway. :P I for one haven't got the cash to be throwing at developers (or anyone else) willy nilly, but a game that delivers a top-quality experience is certainly going to make me more inclined to talk about it with friends, and thus, more potential sales for the developers. It's that sort of positive r
So i think it would be better to just give points for each kill, support spell used on an ally, flag taken, etc. And maybe multiply by a 2x coef if you are in the winning team.
I'd like to see something along these lines as well. Something that more closely resembles each individual's contribution to the battle. The current awards give only a very rough indication, particularly for the people on the losing side of things. I can recall two different matches I wa
Presently, there is an imperfect solution for this issue. Press your tilde (~) key two or three times, and you should eventually be gifted with floaty health bars that hover over all nearby demigods. I use this to keep track of my teammate's health when I play Sedna. Note: the first time you press the tilde key, you'll get healthbars over demigods, minions, AND creeps. Which really isn't helpful in this scenario. :) Just keep on pressing it until you only see
Then for absolute insanity, try setting starting gold, warrank, and level to highest. Grunt strength high, flag capture low, as well.
Eh. I tried this in single player some time ago... And I still have nightmares about it. [e digicons]:pout:[/e] If you think that the creeps are what makes this type of gamemode crazy, wait until you witness the destructive power of an AI-controlled, melee-based Demigod with unlimited money to burn. You have been warned.
Yeah, I had something similar to this happen to me today. After a single Pantheon match, I went back to my demigod selection screen, and both Sedna and Oak were grayed out, and thus, unselectable. (Light side as well, here BTW) After another match, ALL demigods on my selection screen were "gray", effectively forcing me to play as my previously selected character, Rook. Kinda wierd, really. I got the distinct impression that the game app was trying to tell me something... "You'

With their notable cooldown, Sedna-heals sure as heck don't grow on trees, and attempting to perma-cast heals before mid-to-late game is only going to result in a heavily depleted mana bar. Eh... I think there's a bug with the favour points tally at the moment. You SHOULD be able to re-use an item you've already purchased without any penalty. But due to the existence of favour/achievement wipes, the whole system is a bit flakey at the moment, unfortunately.
From what I've seen, the favour point/achievement wipe seems to occur after (or while) you log into your multiplayer account, but before you actually jump into a multiplayer match. Simply by exploring a few of the multiplayer menu options, I was able to invoke this... inconvenience. [e digicons]:annoyed:[/e]
10 out of 10? Wow. Congrats to Stardock and GPG. [e digicons][/e] While Demigod isn't quite perfect at the moment, your efforts are most certainly deserving of high praise. Kudos.
Yep, well, it wouldn't be HARD if you could just ride on the coattails of your teammate's success. [e digicons][/e] Gotta be a star player! Yeah! [e digicons]\o/[/e] And as far as I know, the differences between Hard/Normal/Nightmare AI is simply that they gain XP and gold at different rates. If I remember correctly, Normal AI is the base, Hard AI gain +15% gold and XP, and Nightmare gains +30%. I strongly susp
Wait, hold on. Saam-el's black book was actually an ancient porno magazine? Ewwww... [e digicons]:puke:[/e] Still, the concept that the All-Father left a portion of himself in the book in the far-flung reaches of the past does make sense. I initially thought the book was some sort of direct conduit, through which the All-Father was communicating with Saam-el, and that lead me to believe that the Progenitor was an innately Bad Guy <w:V
Just out of interest, why the decision to release the demo -after- the game goes on sale?
I believe they wanted to spend more time and effort polishing and refining the actual game prior to the release date/deadline. If they spent their last moments developing a demo application, that would logically result in a slightly buggier/shoddier release product.
