I was hoping to get some feedback on this. Has anyone, thus far, had any particular trouble unlocking Sedna's Kitty Charge Achievement? The achievment in question requires the player to "Kill 7 Demigods in a single game with Pounce"... Now, I only recently emerged from a 2-Vs-4 Domination Pantheon game where I focused my build around the Pounce skill, and general DPS. By the game's end, I racked up 36 kills, and I could've sworn that every second or third kill (if not more) was finis

[e digicons]8O[/e] Your connection problems came BACK with 3E? ... Damn. I feel for you, Pakoito. I just came back to this thread to note that I'm still having issues with the ingame chat, and consistently getting the same error. ERROR: Closing Link: MyName[~MyName@IP address] (Excess Flood) I find this very strange, as I can access the same chat channel without any issues when using mIRC, or Impulse's Community>Chat user i

Being able to jump into an active game would be a rather desirable feature, particularly for those of us who live in "off-peak" timezones. I expect the situation will improve post-release, but at the moment, I commonly find few (if any) joinable games available when I personally have the time to play. Jumping into an active match and inhabiting someone else's Demigod may be a somewhat sub-optimal way of doing things, but I'd take it over not playing at all.

I too have been experiencing some of the aforementioned stuttering, after having downloaded the most recent update. Not as bad as every fifteen seconds, but it's there alright. I'm getting the problem Andan mentioned as well. I thought the game app had frozen up permanently after I finished my first match there... [e digicons]>_>[/e]
Super cool it may be, but have they fixed the whole "2GB for an incremental patch" problem? I've all but stopped playing this because none of my friends can actually download the game due to their ISP bandwidth limits.
They seem to have fixed this, yes. Last update for me (3C to 3D) required a download of only 1.2 Megs.

Yes, it's probably too much to expect an AI bot to ever rival a good human player as far as strategy is concerned, but the idea of implementing some "fear" functionality into the AI scripts sounds like it would be... well... at least relatively easy to incorporate. They already know that it's a good idea to run away when they have low health. They just need to learn to run away earlier when one or more players with a high kill/death ratio is in visual/striki

Agreed. I originally wondered why this feature wasn't possible from the get-go, particularly with the skill-tree. I could only guess that they didn't want to give dead players an advantage in being able to leisurely distribute their skill points. But that argument doesn't hold much water for me anymore. If you've played enough games as a particular Demigod, you quickly learn to distribute your skill points in the middle of a full-scale melee (without batting an eyelash) and thus you d
I think the dark side should gain a gluttonous demigod. Somebody big and fat and slow, but more magic based than say the rook. I can see a big fat man riding around on a flying carpet or something throwing lightning at people. Electricity is an element that is not really in anybody's arsonal right now.
I really like this idea, but... Flying around on a carpet? Naww. I'd prefer to see a revolting, ludicrously overweight monstrosity, waddling towards me at a pace that

Mmm. Furthermore, if the devs were to implement more prerequisite requirements for a wider array of skills (We already have SOME high-end skills that work that way, after all.) they might run the risk of creating a complicated and distracting level-up system, that may forcibly draw the player's attention away from the ensuing battle. In a game like Demigod, I suspect that it's probably best not to make levelling up overly complicated or complex. If you're forced to sit down

Methinks it would have something to do with the fact that we are actually spending favour points to use favour items now, instead of merely unlocking them with a certain amount of favour. Perhaps you bought too many different favour items? Or maybe you bought a handfull, and were subsequently hit by an Achievement-resetting bug, thus losing the related achievment/favour points and thus sending you into the red? [e digicons]:|[/e]<
[Fixes/Improvements] ü AI improvements ...
Nice work, guys. [e digicons][/e] Whatever you did to the AI, it really caught me off-guard today. Immediately after the update, I jumped into Pantheon game. To my utter surprise, I actually found myself neatly trounced by the AI team. [e digicons]8C[/e] ...Utterly shameful, I know. Regardless

I've been toying around with the in-game Pause/Timeout feature recently, and I've stumbled upon a minor bug. If I attempt to pause the game while playing in a match that has Timeouts set to "None", (such as a Pantheon game) Demigod's audio start to act... unreliably. I'll usually lose all in-game sound effects, (Except a limited selection of the voice-over commentator's announcements, and the "heartbeat" effect that occurs when at low health) but I'll sometimes lose the background music as we

The two images below were taken immediately after a single match, while playing as Sedna. Prior to this match, my achievments had been wiped clean (for Sedna, at least) as per the current favour/acheivement bug, so (I assume) I was working from a clean slate when this happened. Take note of the "Sedna the Exterminator" achievement in the first image. Kill 25 Demigods in a single match. Simple enough... When dealing with bots, at least. [e digicons][/e] <a

While I've been having no problems with connecting to games, I HAVE been having identical problems with the chat overlay. Same error message as one displayed in your first image. ERROR: Closing Link: MyName[~MyName@IP address] (Excess Flood) I've actually been recieving exactly the same problem when dealing with the chat system in "The Political Machine '08 Express", so I'm thinking it is probably a personal system/firewall conflict with the Impulse Reactor, rather than Demigo

I support this idea. More than once in recent history, I've had a strong desire to play a match of Left 4 Dead, or any other multiplayer-focused game, but found myself put off by the idea of having to socialize with potentially strange Internet-people in order to get that intruiging and challenging multiplayer experience. That's not to say that I'm totally antisocial. Some of my fondest MP memories are of me laughing my head off with a team of complete and u
