It shows up whenever someone sends a message. I made a thread on the need for team chat and the ability to successfully chat after the scoreboard was up and no one responded lol.

They just need to fix generals so they're actually RTS like. The problem is getting minions to a nice balance where they aren't so vulnerable to AoE that they're worthless but they aren't just a mob of insta win. They seem pretty close to where they need to be in terms of power per unit but the fact is you can't summon enough of them to make them useful. Also, it's dumb that there's no penalty for losing them other than having to recast the spell.
Oak can use it in battle(which is totally ridiculous). HoL shouldn't be nerfed though, the other triggerable items should just be buffed. I don't even think about buying most of them because there's no real point to using the vast majority of them.
This only helps you if you host games :P.
This gives me an idea. An evil idea. Testing it now. Evil idea fails and wastes gold :(. You can't drop an item, buy the same item, and then pick up your old one.
I Agree, but standard isnt always bad. and any suggestions, i didnt want to got with an AoE skill cause the orbs of light already have AoE.
Well I have a couple ideas. If you want to stick with healing, you could have it turn her orbs into "healing bombs" that are essentially an AoE allied heal. I know, it's still AoE, but at least it's not AoE damage :P. If you want to go in a totally different direction, maybe you could have a triggered ability that
The dominate ticker should only go when you have more flags than the enemy and the rate should be dependent on how many more. The way it is now, you aren't going to get the base flags so as the OP said, you can get to a point where it's impossible to lose.
Does the turning around on retreat bug affect any dgs other than rook? I've never had it happen to me but I've seen it happen to the rook.
Holy shit this thread is old. As mentioned, throughout the thread, excellent idea and far better than the current system. It would reduce item redundancy and add to the amount of thought needed for gear loadouts.
Did you test it? I don't think that would let you reasonably conclude that wc3 is client/server though as the host could serve important functions, it is after all, supposed to be a variation on the peer to peer model. If you really want to test it you need to see if there's traffic coming from the non host IPs.
I feel that recharge is too similar to mulch shambler. The other abilities are nice and have decent synergy with each other(since they're based on consuming your orbs) but you should put something more unique in place of recharge so he has a more unique playstyle. Also, the number of levels means he can get all but 4 skills under the current 20 level architecture(not counting the generic buff line which is borderline useless). Essentially, people would just
Only 150 points? :(. I think most of us afflicted have earned a lot more than that and wouldn't mind if some people who haven't been playing much online get more than their fair share out of this. It's good that this is getting addressed though.
Seems kind of flaky today. Working for me right now though.
This is based on what I've seen so far. I have not played every map in every mode yet so this list is far from comprehensive. 1. Crucible and exile in conquest mode take way too long to finish games. This is because the positioning of the health crystal makes it impossible to push into their base unless you're so far ahead in terms of items and levels that you can kill them at the crystal. 2. On exile in fortress mode, the start of the ga
I don't think they are at this point. They were at the beginning though for reasons that I can't be bothered to look up or remember.
I'd also like to add now, that since the respawn time at level 1 is 24-25 seconds, you break even on gold because they don't have any income from gold mines while respawning so they're losing at least 100 for the death. This means if you get the kill, it's always worth it.
We're missing: 1. A teleporting ranged kiter(see the teleporting snake thread for my idea on how to fill that one). These guys are just micro intensive and fun to use. 2. A stealth/ambush demigod. Someone that'll actually make you buy those little oracle flag thingies. 3. A hardcore spellcaster. Something with low mana costs and cooldowns, low physical damage, and amazing spell synergies. The sort of caster where
I thought regulus was over 20 yds lol. I guess he's more like 15? It shouldn't be longer than regulus' since he's supposed to be the sniper. I was thinking of burrow more as a teleportish ability where he burrows to the location and then unburrows when he gets there whether you want him to or not. An ambush type ability would be cool too though(and I can see how my initial description would come off this way). The idea of improved burrow would be
They're creeps if you don't have giants, reinforcements if you do.
I posted this in a different thread but I'm not really sure if that was the best place for it and people aren't discussing, so I've decided to make a thread on it. The idea of this demigod is really to provide for some hardcore kiting. None of the other DGs are really designed around this kind of thing so I think it would be fun to have one. The main inspiration is really from the Stalker in SC2(I know it's not out yet, but we have videos!). Anyways he
Begone ignorance. For those that don't get it, run a find for peer-to-peer on the page.
Dragons look cool though...
Umm, everyone's been losing favor points constantly...

Yes there's something you're missing. It's called ai hax.
