Lol, I bet you want to buy the second copy for half off then return the first for a refund :P.

Minions shouldn't manage themselves better, they should improve the ui so you can manage them better. They should also make minion builds viable. Right now if you spend on idols it's at the expense of gear that will often benefit you more than the minions do.
Don't worry about lag. It's the people who get spikes that wreck games. As long as your ping is stable things will be fine. I'd say go for pantheon or skirmish games if you're getting kicked from customs. You might have to play with AIs for a few matches but after that it'll put you with people.
The fundamental problem with the socialism/capitalism debate is that many people completely neglect the fact that both systems are impractical extremes and therefore both bad. In the purest form, capitalism is an economic system where all ownership is private and socialism is an economic system where all ownership is public(so presumably everyone will get whatever they need). The endorsement of either system is a failure to see the big picture. The economic system that we pi
lately they're in an RPG mood - went through Dungeon Siege 2 and now on Diablo 2 (again..) [e digicons]:P[/e] So that only half-counts.
Tell them Demigod is like an RPG without the grinding, that's basically what it is anyways. Also, I totally misread the OP first time through. Thought you were asking which DGs would hook up lol.
When using some melee abilities (such as Bite with Erebus) the ability either does not activate or bugs you into losing control of your hero sometimes.
Happens with all targetted abilities. You have to issue a move command and try again. It really ought to be fixed :/.
I'll be surprised if they don't start it tommorrow despite what it says in game. That's probably just an automated system in need of an update.
Meow?
The problem is not that he tower spammed, it's that he didn't push properly. If a rook is doing that, he should be trying to push up through their towers, not just camping in a lane.
All the favor items should be available to everyone from the start of the match anyways. If you do that and balance them a little, they add the same kind of depth as doctrine choice in Company of Heroes. If you don't do that, they'll be disabled in competitive play and just be noob toys in pantheon and such. Taking a potentially good gameplay mechanic and making it a persistent reward in a game like this just wastes the mechanic. At the very least we need a host option
That's not the impression I'm getting Silphius. He's complaining about people going "why didn't you heal me?" as well as "where the hell were you?" The latter is obviously the "follow me around and shine my shoes" mentality but the former sounds more like he was in the area but still not using his spells.
Quality over quantity... Additional demigods should be as unique as possible. If you try to get 20+, you'll end up with new demigods using old abilities.
The market approach to balance is actually kind of interesting. I'd like to see that tried, but it should be a host option and would need to be regulated. Otherwise we'll have a teleport scroll bubble and you know what happens when that bubble pops? Everyone who invested their hard earned gold in teleport scrolls finds their scrolls depreciating in value. It's just not cool you know? No but seriously, some items are designed to be essential(especially your standa
Exile is the snake map. It's horrible because there's the choke at the base entrance and the crystal is adjacent to the citadel. Worse still, both sides have an artifact shop in their base next to the normal shop. You can't win without very powerful artifacts. If you were playing on leviathan, I have trouble believing you came back. The other team must have stopped trying after they got giants.
I heard that in the chat last night, it was said that idol resell was being left in the game intentionally. Is this true? I really hope it is. It would be better if gpg implemented a more obvious game mechanic for buying minions with gold but idol resell is a nice alternative for the moment.
It's not so much in response to people yelling heal or shield(I haven't actually had this happen to me). I wrote this post kind of late last night(if you click view edits you'll see I actually even put it in the wrong forum) so I don't really feel like I articulated the point very well. Your points are all very valid. I would also like to add that when you see your allies mana bars you can read whether or not your group is overextended. This is the main reason I point
Whenever I'm playing a shielding QoT and I'm attacking with someone, I have to type in that I'm low on mana so they know I can't shield them again. Same thing for sedna or any other support hero. Mana is an important piece of information that your allies really need to see. EDIT: Or maybe i can move it myself..
Grading bias exists. Annoy your teachers at your own peril.
You asked if you need to patch. Does that mean you haven't patched to whatever the latest version is since purchasing it?
I think you have a completely different mentality from me(this is putting it very politely fyi). Towers are a tad too strong on normal. Creeps are perfect on standard settings(right down to what level of what AoE will wipe out an entire group of them). Flag capture times are fine.
In company of heroes, you can see the number of players in a game and the number of players online overall. As I recall, most players are actually in games. That said, it doesn't have DG's level of connectivity problems. All that really matters is that there are enough people to get a game pretty quickly.
This game doesn't have problems of OP vs UP so much as problems of useful vs useless. There area lot of things in the game that just aren't useful but they don't represent your typical OP/UP balance problems because every demigod has a viable playstyle.
Goo job, you've find a worthy opponent
If you had just spelled found correctly I would have given you karma. Unfortunately, I'm allergic to otherwise hilarious but mispelled jabs.
Why? This would add a totally unnecesary random element to the game. If you had spells that caused these natural distasters it would be one thing, but random map hazards are seriously ftl.
RTS like as in having units that actually follow a counter system and you get a reasonable quantity of them. Something comparable to the quantity you get form idol resell would be awesome. Ideally they should actually function like the units you summoned in sacrifice, that would fit the design of the game the best.
