re: health bar sizes I looked into this a while back, but didn't get very far before getting distracted. To reproduce the bug. Turn on health bars using ~. Reduce your demigod's life to 50% of maxhealth. Zoom in and out and notice how the health bar changes. The visual display is not consistent across zoom levels. I don't remember the functions and file names, however I'm pretty sure it is

Heh I like my description in the post :P Amen on the updating lists, who knows what goes on with this weird forum I have posts disappearing, my number of Karma bounces up and down all the time, and editing threads sometimes just does absolutely nothing. Edit: I'm thinking of tackling the health bar zoom problem next, has anyone looked into this already? I'm hoping this is something that should be LUA only so it should hopefully be fixable without running into

RE: Version Control/Bug Tracker We could use GitHub (as to not need to fiddle setting up SVN) if you guys wanted it's free if its open source which this would be, and I much prefer Git over Subversion for ease of use anyways. I'm happy with any bug tracker I don't really have a preference there, I usually use BaseCamp but that isn't free so...

Hell, they all start disabled.
It's not really that simple, if they are going to officially support a fan mod, which is what they'd be doing, they'd have to ensure that the mod didn't ruin the game experience before releasing it to the public. Kind of ironic though since they have their own bugs ruining the game experience ;)

RE: Posts & SD/GPG Help That would certainly explain the similarities I saw :P I know both Stardock and GPG are busy with new games and if they had displayed no intention to fix these bugs I wouldn't have even considered them dedicating more time to the game than they could afford, it makes no business sense to do so. However if they do intend to fix them it does seem more economical to interface with the mod community who is essentially doing the work for them, w

Oh I misunderstood what you wanted them to do. Including a fan made mod doesn't really seem like something they'd do, I do think it'd be smart for them to at least merge in the changes made thus far in UberFix because they've done some amazing work and it doesn't really require any effort on GPG's part to merge them in, in comparison to the hours and hours spent by fans to fix the game. I think it's the least they can do for the fans this dedicated is to merge in their changes if you are inca

Any word on the likely hood of any of these changes being fixed any time soon? Wondering how much of our effort over at UberFix should concentrate on fixing bugs on this list. It also seems that UberFix has fixed a few of these issues already, is there some way we can share them with GPG to move things any faster?

I have assumed everyone has seen this thread but I had forgotten about it completely: http://forums.demigodthegame.com/379675/page/4 It seems GPG is working on some of these bugs already (Oculus not attacking below is a bug apparently!) does anyone know if it's worth waiting for these changes, or at least trying to fix things not on this list first to avoid wasting our efforts on things that may be officially patched

RE: Thread Diversity I think that a single thread is probably best, but there needs to be some form of organization where we collect key posts on certain topics, say we could provide links under each bug in the top post to key posts discussing the involved bug or such. Even separate threads make it hard to find information on specific bugs, for example I read 14 pages to see if people had tackled the Oculus bug yet then found out it was apparently covered elsewhere en

Here is my fix for the TB and QoT state bug where they change do Ice or Opened state respectively on death regardless of what state you are in before death. I have sent this to Ptarth in a PM but it's probably best to have this here so anyone can see it. 13. Oculus cannot autoattack directly beneath him This would make sense considering he's on a giant chair and he has the ability to launch himself around apparently to overcome this weakness. I'm not so certain this is a bug except for the fact I cannot find the code that is actually restricting him from attacking downwards.

I seem to remember it being said that the new Demigods were not localized, thus it would be assumed they default to the English settings. However I cannot find a tool tip for the increased attack speed buff, I get the feeling it was added to the tooltip and then decided against and then never removed from the tool tip. Edit: Confirmed that if you run the game in a different language the English is used by default when no translation is present.

After some research I believe that: 9. Language for engine messages (xxx has left, xxx has joined...) in game lobby uses the hosts language setting (this should be the users language setting): my russian is a bit rusty! May be impossible to fix. It appears that the lobby messages are sent by the host as nameless messages rather than displayed by each persons individual client. This is why they get the hosts settings instead of the users local settings. Unless we can somehow
