What is with all the blizzard fanboyism around here? Even with their significantly bigger infrastructure and budget, they still release games that are broken on release, even with their "it'll be done when its done" mantra, they release things that dont work. Every damn significant WoW patch they bring out seems to crash every single server, or cause catastrophic damage. Give Stardock a break already, I think they get the point that you think they are lazy greedy corperate assholes th
Props and Karma, but one request. Can you have the options explain what they do when you mouse over them? I know it's a bunch more work, but it would really make your fansite the best out there for DemiGod.
I already does, it's just broken in Internet Explorer for some reason. If you use Chrome or Firefox or such there should indeed be tooltips that explain everything. Not sure why it doesn't work in IE at the mom
What a great site. This is fantastic for Theorycrafting. I don't know what your future plans are, but if I can make a couple of sugguestions I would love to see the following: 1. Support for Favor Items 2. Ability to store and compare builds side by side. Sorry for the thread hijack.
Just updated with Favor Item Support :) I also plan to allow storing and comparing builds, I need to comple

I've been working on a site that does similar, http://www.backwardshypothesis.com/demigod/calculator.php I have bought DemigodDB.com and plan to put it up there. Click "Calculator" to open the statistics window, then when you click on items it'll automatically recalculate your hero statistics. Tech Trees are also added and you can select

The description for poison potion insinuates that poison potions should heal himself, this is likely just a bug rather than an exploit.

Length is fine, as people have said repeatedly, teleport scrolls are NOT for escaping. They are for after you escape to get back to the fountain quickly, or to get back and forth from the shops, or from getting from one lane to another to help stop pushing or help other people in taking down other demigods. They are NOT for running away. If you want to run away, you should buy a wand of speed, gives a 25% movement speed boost for only $1250, that coupled with boots of speed should be plenty t

Of course armor depends on health, so health bonus' also help, also health bonus' work against abilities too, so it's more well rounded. However against those scary late game Rook's or UB's, Armor ontop of the large late game Health Pool may be more beneficial than a few extra base HP. The Rook, Unbuffed, with no items has 4750HP at Level 20, with 658 Armor: This by default gives him an extra 26.32% HP. Putting him at 6000 Modified HP raw. An extra 500

Percent Health Gained from X amount of armor can be calculated by: (((x + 2500) / 2500) - 1) * 100 so 500 armor, will give you 20% bonus health against normal attacks. So 1000hp, would seem be 1200hp. An example: Is that 500 armor provides a 16.6666666666666% Damage Mitigation. That means 100 damage will only do 83.3333333333 Damage, that means over 1000 HP, you can be hit 12 times before dying. 12 times, saving 1

If you just copied over the Program Files, you need to update the registry (You can copy the registry keys from a legitimate version, takes about 30 seconds). If you don't know how to do this then you can delete it and do the archive way. Note that to unpack an archive you need to be logged in as the same account that made the game on impulse, my friends and I struggled with that (Hence we worked out the registry way).

As far as I've noted don't other Phasic Heroes also start in the default mode? QoT for example always spawns in the shambler summoning mode (from memory). Also, I know logically things that are dead stay dead, hence I put quotation marks around logical, insinuating that in the realm of the demigod universe where they being gods are capable of coming back to life and all, it would seem likely that they at least get knocked out of their weird "LOOK AT ME IM ON FIRE" form :P Also

It's a little annoying to keep track of, but at least its easier than when you are specced in both tech trees and you need to double check which mode you are in in the middle of battle and you start casting the wrong spells :(

Does it really matter that much? It's free to change modes and takes a whole 2 seconds. Not to mention it makes a little more sense to respawn in ice mode since thats technically his "normal" mode, as he walks around normally and such, whereas his firemode, he is flying and all that. Seems "logical" that if you died, you'd be forced into normal mode again.

It appears to lock the mouse for me as long as I dont alt tab out of the game, and I make sure that the mouse is on my primary monitor when the game loads. Alt tabbing will ruin the mouse lock, and does on many games.

It traps the mouse on the menus, and even in game once, but other than one time, it doesn't work. WASD is possible but it means my fingers aren't on hotkeys where they belong to spam abbilities and items where they should be.

UB with his corpse explosions and his plague, plus if you get items that include the cheap one that does 250 lightning damage to an area at 15% or something. Then get anything with cleaving. You just walk through waves of creeps and minions, especially if you have frenzy. You can easily get most of this by the time Sedna can afford all her minions and such. This is just one stratagy to counter minions I've found, but I'm sure most of the time you can do similar. For example regulus' angel for
