I find Heart of Life difficult to use with The Rook because it requires that you don't take any damage, and he's extremely slow. But then again, if you have a nearby tower fort (;)) to retreat to, then it's unlikely anyone will follow you in there.
Coma
The Frost Torch Bearer is very effective. Early game - once you upgrade Rain of Ice to rank 2 - he can kill all enemy reinforcements with one cast of Rain of Ice, making your reinforcements attack the enemy heroes. If you upgraded your Citadel, this is very significant and consistent DPS. Late game, his Shatter combo is usually not enough to kill, but it still does respectable damage which makes the enemy hero retreat in many cases. It will usually take almost 3/4 of the target's HP,
The matchmaking system almost always sticks me in a 2v2 in Crucible... why not wait a little more and play some other map? :\ edit: Infact, I don't think I've been in a Pantheon game that wasn't in Crucible.
my guess is that so many people are choosing favourites and playing as certain demigods that you only can choose the ones that arn't being used constantly. plus you can only play as evil if you select evil and good if you selected good until the current patheon restarts.
That's why I want to know if this is intentional. They can't force me to play a Demigod I don't want to play because of balance issues. What's the po
It's not as complicated as you make it out to be... and I don't think it's more error prone at all. And no, that's unacceptable. Why is this the only game that freezes when doing stuff like this? This is bad coding, period.
Yea, basically the cause is there are still not enough servers to handle all the connection requests. We added a lot of servers today but there's a bunch more being prepped as well for tomorrow. The reason it gets slow is that it makes an HTTP request to get some data on one of the servers and that's basicaly the time it's taking for it to get a response.
But why does it wait? Come on! I haven't seen any of yo
I'm still here.
I believe in you guys too, but please, make sure it doesn't hang when doing something. Even if it makes no difference functionally, it will be much better for us --- and for you.
This happens all the time, regardless. One word: ASYNCHRONOUS. Please! The game shouldn't have to wait for a response... run it in a separate thread so the clouds in the background keep moving and the smile on my face doesn't turn into a frown.
I think what they do is just make it so the UI isn't run through the 3D filter.
It's not because there's no DRM or whatever. It was just an oversight on their part. The update check is (was) done when you first start the game, rather than when you go to play multiplayer. So tons of pirates open their game, the servers are hammered.
sadly, as the pirated copies won't be updated and since they are using the same code than legit retail copies, it will be hard to remove the pirate calls with
Oh please, the pirate thing is an oversight. The update check shouldn't happen until after you log in, just like all other games.
It's not that the AI was suiciding, but it literally did nothing. I mean it - literally - it stood at the middle of the map (it's the 2v2 map) between the two Fortresses and did nothing. Every time it resurrected, it went back there and stood there again. In a nutshell, I was able to hold them back before they realized it's standing at the middle (it was in the side passage) and started killing it every time. Before he left we would've won. It was a really nice combination too
I just played a match, and my ally got disconnected... so the AI replaced him. Except the AI in this match consisted of "stand next to the enemy fortress and feed them tons of gold". The AI literally did nothing except stand there until they came to kill him! Needless to say, I lost.
Guess what...
I'm pretty sure it's two way. If you connect to someone, it also says they are connected to you.
(not so) wild guess says it's your CPU...
Now it's QoT and Erebus...
...huh? Why? Is this intended?
I think this thread should focus on thinking up a penalty for letting your minions die, rather than be a tunnel vision of "give XP/gold when killed". For example, consecutive summons could cost more mana, or the minions will be weaker. Another idea is making a minion's death hurt your HP and mana. The former two would obviously be on an internal cooldown of 3 minutes or so. It shouldn't be too difficult to get your minions to last 3 minutes, considering their HP. This penalty
Also, joining custom games usually says "failed to join".
This happens to me too. I'm not sure exactly what it means, but I've noticed that sometimes it seems that this is caused by the game being full (perhaps by people still attempting to connect). More descriptive errors would be nice.
There doesn't seem to be any, and sometimes I end up summoning a minion again because I could only see one/three in the chaos, and then after I press the button I see them die >_>
I'd also like a character that can dramatically increase his auto-attack for a small duration of time
Unclean Beast...?
I would think that if it shows an increase, then that is the new flat rate.
You can hold Alt to make an attack move, according to the tips, but it doesn't seem to always work. Sometimes your Demigod will just stand there looking stupid.
