I don't get why so many people hate playing the underdog so much that they'd rather act like a little baby that doesn't get his way and quit, leaving this teammates (granted probably strangers) in even greater trouble to go sit in the lobby. I think I might enjoy playing a defensive match even more than one where I have the advantage. The best is probably a good, long balanced game though. Those almost never happens though. There is always some retard that decides to go cry to his mommy becau

Well just building the model is most likely just the first step. You'd need the tools to designate the shops, flags, what area players can walk on, what path the creeps should take etc etc. And noone but the developer has those. That said, if they released those, with a guide on how to use them, there will probably be a lot of people with 3DStudio and Maya that will take up the challenge and start making maps.

I vote for random bad guy imprisoned in that prison plane. If you look around you can see a vast amount of crystals/prisons.

I can see the bracelet of rage doing this. If i play well as UB and get a cash advantage, once i pop the bracelet (use: +300 dmg for 10 secs, passive +50 dmg, 45sec cooldown, 14000g) my target gets ripped to shreds in seconds. I can't remember the last time anyone survived that. I remember once when I had just started playing DG. We were getting murdered by a Rook 5 levels higher who waded through our defenses with sedna on his back, and we just couldn't bring him down no matter what we did.

You can usually find higher quality opponents on Gameranger. Something about who takes the effort to learn about Gameranger instead of just mashing the Multiplay button.

You will keep autoattacking without slowing down, as long as you stay in range (need same or better speed to do that). It looks like there are a couple of exceptions to this (see posts further up), but this is the general rule. If you use any ability with a cast time, you will stop while you cast, and go into idle mode when you're done casting. If you use an instant ability, your demigod will use it and go into idle mode. Once in idle mode, the "idle AI" will decide to attack
A idea to stardock. Take the 'ping' out of custom games and replace with a colour for conenction if you have under 200 make it green under 400 make it yellow and over 400 make it red.
How will this help? Most people only kick for pings over 200 anyway, so they will just start kicking everyone that is not green. Atleast now they might let you stay if you ping just above 200.

1&2: http://www.demigoddb.com 3: Normal is retardedly easy and actually gets nerfed stats compared to a human player. Hard is the same as a human player, but still AI. So terribly easy. Nightmare cheats, and it has to, since it's still really easy for anyone that has played more than 10 games. It can become a problem if you let it live till 15-20 since i

It is a joint structure. The upgrades effect your whole team. There are none that affect only you. Once someone upgrades something in the Citadel, that particular upgrade will be unavailable, but you will be able to buy the next upgrade, or another one. Most people spend their money on equipment upgrades, and don't bother with the citadel upgrades though. Especially in random games.

If you look at this spreadsheet, the types of mobs have a 'bounty' column. I believe this is gold, but could be xp. Maybe you're right about them not giving gold.

Easy AI is retarded and suffers negative bonuses to their stats/money. Normal AI is slightly less retarded and suffer some negative bonuses as well. Hard AI have the same stats as a human player would, and probably some improved AI over Normal. Nightmare AI cheats. They recieve signifigant stat and money bonuses. Assuming you are playing on hard or higher, you will play with normal AI on your side, and your teammates will feed the enemy team, "gi

Nightmare is the closest you can get to a player, and should really be the default player replacement yes. If you aren't good enough to beat a Nightmare AI, you would have gotten your ass handed to you by a human player in any case. Even if you have the natural gaming talent of a heavily sedated hobo, once you've played the game a while, you'll be better than a Nightmare AI. Normal AI like a conveyor bringing you free gold and xp. Maybe it would be challenging if you had two broken ar

Armor scales quickly when you have low armor, so I recommend atleast one good piece of armor. And another thing people seem to miss when comparing HP to armor is healing (ex. Sedna), heal rate, and life steal. Someone stacking HP and has no armor is much harder to heal and effectively gets worse regeneration. Basically you can assume a 1.xx modifier to healing/regen where xx is your armor reduction (vs autoattack). End game a lot of the damage you might take is autoattack. Just think

I like favor items in general, but I think the 15% runspeed anklet needs to go. It is so vastly better than anything else that it makes all the other favor items obsolete. Other than that one the rest are minor advantages. I also think that cost should not be included in balancing them, as you can easily save up for whatever is "the best one" and just use that forever. They should be balanced only on their abilities, so you choose the one most suited to your build, instead of just picking X b

Some are slightly better against certain demigods (builds rather) than others, but I don't think it's an intended RPS mechanic. Generally DG can hold their own against anybody. Yes there are "X is OP" threads about all DGs already.

- Yes the lowest res is 1024x768. - GPG probably chose the smallest res any sane person would try to run a game at in 2009, and screw the other 0.0001%
