Bite needs a range increase, and I'm only partially joking. When Erebus goes to bite the Rook, he tries to bite at the normal attack range, which is outside the Rook's radius. However, the range of bite is calculated to the center of the Rook. The end result is that Erebus stops right at the Rook's edge when he tries to bite it's out of range.
Nah the range is fine, they just need to make the move & select syst

Lobby Request: Please add a "Join By Ip Address" for LAN games, where you can enter the hosts IP to join.
So far I've seen nerf calls for at least 4 characters... soo yeah... if we need to nerf all 8 doesn't that make it balanced already :P Know your characters strengths and weaknesses, it will still need some tweaking and maybe bite does need a slight adjustment to the health returned, but I think this would make other characters even more powerful (UB) etc. Honestly I'm surprised how well it is balanced already, they have done a fairly good job with
Maybe they can add a join by IP option, sometmies you can most likely connect to the game even if it isn't broadcast in your list.
The game will never be balanced 1v1 for every character, that is impossible to do - plus it's a team game.
It might help understand to know that you can actually adjust the game speed. In a single player game press + or - on your keypad to increase or decrease the game speed. So if your sim speed is +4 for example, then setting the game speed to +5 or +6 will not make it any faster than your sim speed. In a multiplayer game, before the game starts in the game options, the host can choose from Slow, Normal, Fast and Adjustable. In most cases
It's probably the most likely place people will look if they have performance issues I would imagine.
Yeah you really need stun characters against him, other characters will have trouble. Anything you can do with items to stun or take his mana away will bring him down I guess
Yeah... so the only point in using minions would be if you could respec later in the game :)
I've tried a heavy minion build with Erebus, heaps of minion items and all of the abilities - they seem pretty useless at high levels though, and barely put a dint into DG's like UB with a few artifacts. Am I doing something wrong or are they really that weak in late game. They even seemed to have trouble with Giants.
If that is the case then yeah it is a bug, but it might just use the distance that you are when you start firing the shot.
Your computer specs are actually under the minimum requirements are they? I thought the minimum processor was 2.4GHz
This might not be a bug, it might be intended. This happens with any targetted spell, once initiated they do not miss. Also works with the TB's fireball.
It would depend how it was done, I think it makes a more interesting map where like in dota you have forests blocking paths, but you can destroy trees etc. Anyway they have a pretty good base game to work with, but they could make some really interesting maps with other objectives to open up alternate routes etc. Looks like it's is built almost exactly like Supcom with lua so it should be pretty moddable, just depends what restricti
0 Sim Speed doesn't feel like normal speed, it feels slower TBH. p.s. Unneccesarily obnoxious post, I'm surprised it's a sticky.
We never play on anything less that nightmare AI, and there is normally one extra AI - hard becomes very easy very quickly.
Make sure things like your antivirus aren't updating in the background - this will significantly lower your sim speed (i've seen people go down to -5)
Yeah some people have sound driver issues with this game, and changing the sound settings (low without reverb) can help, or starting the game with /nosound in a shortcut. My sound drivers seem to be okay as this didn't make much difference, maybe added one to my sim speed for a while.
Press TAB to find out your sim speed. It's basically a measure of how fast you can run the game, from my experience if you drop below 2 then you will start to notice it, below 1 and negative you will really feel things slow down. It is quite separate to your FPS, and in this engine seems to be more of a bottleneck than the graphics.
Quoting RavineLP, reply 6 Character Sheet : It's quite hard to figure what are our HP and MP regen. Those infos on the sheet (the big one, or maybe the little too) would be great, to figure our own strength and weakness. You can get that information in a tooltip by hovering your mouse over your hit points or mana in the character info sheet.
Yes you can, but the interface woul
Does anyone think that fortresses need to be beefed up? When I consider a fortress vs a tower, a fortress should do more damage, be tougher and be physically bigger. The damage seems much weaker than towers however.
It's a bit of a moot point who made the game considering these are the official forums, and this is where the tech support takes place - so of course all problems will be brought up here.
Keep an eye on the maps you are playing too, some of the maps play much worse than others. I don't know the names of all of the maps but the small blueish snake map seems to run the best. If someone is blaming you for lagging then press tab and check your sim speed and your latency. If your sim speed is below 2 then you will start to slow everyone down, if your latency is high then you might slow everyone down too. If you have crap fps
Your CPU will probably effect sim speed the most - even if you run graphics settings all right down you can still get bad sim speed.
I used to make these types of maps for Wc3 and Supcom, we played them a lot so its a good idea, I'm a bit worried about the modding ability of Demigod though, so it might be a bit restrictive. Is there any information on this yet? In theory it's the supcom engine so it should be possible, does demigod use LUA as well?
