Yes, because this is a pay-to-play MMO. Excellent comparison.

This is an item, nothing complex like a demigod. The problem with it is staring you in the eye. So saying it's fucking useless now is good enough of an argument, and your arguments against that haven't convinced me.
Saying it's "fucking useless now" doesn't make it so, reg
Regardless of whether or not your view is against the majority is irrelevant - your opinion is clearly that 1.1 didn't do what you wanted it to do and so you're complaining. And make so mistake - you may post long winded arguments, however they don't actually argue anything; you're just complaining in more words than the others.
Heart of Mana: just restoring mana (more interesting for the mana intensive demigod players), cost a bit cheaper, around 3500 gold !
I like the idea of two seperate items, however it would still create the same problem if they were readily available. The HoL shouldn't be available so easily or so early as it was - it really changes the game once you've got one and it has numerous side effects. I think the current situati
... Also, the cost is more outrageous because of the post-production costs. It costs a company money to have a game to have boxes made, manuels printed, cd's burned, shipping, and shelf space. DLC (and direct download games) don't have this cost, or have it at a fraction of the amount. That makes the proportions even more skewed. Downloaded games should be cheaper IMO than the tactile product I can go buy at the store. They aren't though... [/quot
That was my point - as the update contained almost no fixes to gameplay bugs, it is as if noone worked on these for the past two months. Speaking of usual way things are with patches - code is improved non-stop and gameplay bugs are fixed as soon as they are discovered and resources are available. Balance changes are done in lumps. Then BOTH balance changes and gameplay bug fixes are released in a patch. In this case, it s
For every issue that gets fixed, there is going to be people who complain that the issue they perceived as the most important wasn't fixed. Glitches and bugs which effect a small number of the popullation - however vocal - are going to be lower on the list than items that effect everyone's game, such as the aforementioned Priests and Angels tweak and the HoL nerf. The repercussions of these changes is far more reaching, and improves the quality of a high number of people's games compa
After playing a few games of Demigod, it's fairly obvious that there can be either a lack of, or a delay in, communications due to the lack of in-game voice chat. Most games acquire their own abbreviations naturally as the game progresses, however I thouht perhaps we, as a community, could come up with our own abbreviations to help make communicating a little easier and faster. If for nothing else, when a player sees an abbreviation they don't understand this might help
I'm not going to have fun doing it all over again.
What's made the game less fun? The lack of favour items due to the reset favour figures? If this is the case, and I'm not saying it is, does this mean the game was no fun until these items became available?
A good idea, hopefully to be included in the next patch.
I'm still pissed that 1.1 didn't make the Chinese Government acknowledge the Tiananmen massacre.
Yeah, they also made North Korea fairly overpowered with their shortened cooldown. Bastards.
Well, frankly improving the AI isn't really a hotfix kind of issue - the random Demigod option could be, assuming it's a simple error and easy to correct. Hotfixes are usually reserved for game breaking issues that were dormant in the patch.
Comebacks are a rare thing in Demigod. Usually what people perceive as a come back is really just one side playing the other. Anything to help give everyone a fair chance, not just 'Shit I died - concede', is a good thing in my opinion.

I've seen a lot in my time on the internet, but never in all my years have I seen so many people bitch, moan and complain that a game actually receives attention from the Developers. Balance and stability improvements will continue for years . There is no silver bullet - it's an on going effort. The game is two months old, and the amount of attention it has received from it's creators rivals a game three or four times it's age, at least. If you can't appreciate th

The item removed the need for the player to return to the Health Crystal, and significantly reduced the number of potions a player would need to purchase. Both of these points increase the amount of Gold and XP a player received as a side effect of
Well I only spent 5 min in sp testing... I didn't really need to reach much more than the title of your thread and the opening 9 words before I knew that this wasn't a constructive thread designed to help the Publishers pass a list of the communities prioritised concerns to the developers so that they are addressed. Every thing they've changed or added is designed to address the perceived concerns of the community. Things such as Rage Quitting were clearly big

It increases your ping, however it makes what was once unplayable, playable. Also, keep in mind additional improvements to the Netcode for Demigod are most likely
Well, MMO isn't quite that horrible, albiet it is long winded. Games like Call of Duty 4 are Multiplayer games, however they're not 'online' as they have an offline component. Games like Second Life aren't multiplayer as such, however they're online online. So, MMO lets people know that it's a multiplayer game, totally online with no singleplayer component and.. er.. it's massive! There's numerous descriptions you can use for this sub-genre: CBRTS - Character Based Real

Excellent work mate, very good trailer.
"We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a saltshaker half-full of cocaine, and a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers... Also, a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether, and two dozen amyls. Not that we needed all that for the trip, but once you get into locked a serious drug collection, the tendency is to push it as far as you can. The only thing that really worried me
Perhaps this is already a feature, and is something I simply haven't been able to find, but I'd like to be able to add non-Impulse games to my Impulse Games list. I have many games on my harddrive, and it would be nice to be able to browse them all just by loading Impulse. I agree with above post, it's a great feature of Steam and hopefully this will come when they finish implementing the Friends system. The last thing I'd like to be able to do is be able to see whats happenin
